Splashkit stands in the doorway of the Riverclan nursery watching her denmates becoming apprentices. Splashkit was only 5 1/2 moons old then, and was too excited to become an apprentice. She was so close!
Her mother seemed to be reading her thoughts and said comfortingly, "Not long Splashkit. Not long."
