"Hmm...difficult decision..." she said in deep thought, a bit of anxiety in her tone. Thinking for a moment longer, she flicked an ear and looked a bit confused.
"If...you are against savagery, then why would you imprison someone or even kill them? Isn't that against what you are? And I am not sure if I will join...I still need to find Ro-" she paused and hoped the last word she had said was not caught in Vilaya's ears. Looking up warily, she continued,
"Why can't you all just live in peace...and not have prisoners?" she asked, innocence caught in her eyes.

"Long, complicated story." Vilaya winced, as she responded. Then, she straightened herself, and regained her composure. "We only kill cats if they are disrespectful." Vilaya mewed. "Also if they r.ape, attack, or disobey a cat of higher authority. Respect is the most important rule, here."
-
Ripple shook her head with a disappointed frown. She flattened her ears in frustration.
"So...your telling me...you think that your better than most cats and if they do not respect your ways, you just kill them? Well, did you ever think about how they were raised? Do you even care about other cats or just yourselves? You will imprison or force a cat to stay with you no matter what! That itself is savagery! So what if they came through your selfish territory?! Why can't you just let them go? They might not have known just like me! I know that this might be disrespectful to you, so go ahead! Imprison me, torture me, kill me even! Just know you just killed another cat if you kill me! So much for finding a peaceful place! Pfft, this is just the opposite of peace! I don't know what they did to you, but...I pity you."Small tears formed in her blazing hazel eyes. She knew she had crossed a line, but she would at least keep her dignity. Mumbling to herself in a hushed tone she said, "Forgive me...brother..." Without a chance to glare at the serval, she stood up and tried to run. At the sudden movement, her back leg flashed and gave such a heavy weight she yowled in agony. Tears streaking down her soft face, she clenched her teeth and dragged her back leg, making her slow down. Staring at the way out, she meowed in a heavy and higher voice. "I'm coming Rock! Wait for me!"
-
Vilaya immediately was on her paws, and racing after Ripple. Her long legs allowed her to run very fast, allowing her to catch up with her fairly quickly. "That is enough!" she meowed. "Stop, NOW!"
-
RRipple turned her head, surprised at how fast Vilaya was. She lost her focus and slightly twisted her leg. Stopping herself from screaming, she clenched her teeth and fell sideways, skidding and slamming into a wall. She faintly whimpered but did not have any other responses. She adjusted her hazel eyes to see Vilaya still running after her. Closing her eyes, she waited but whispered, "Rock...I can't...I'm sorry..."
-
"Don't be foolish," Vilaya chided. "There's no escaping from the Civil."
-
Ripple narrowed her eyes and stayed on the ground. She didn't make any sudden movement but her leg twitched now and then. Refusing to show any pain, she gave a small smirk of pity.
"Me? Foolish? Now that can't be right...I am nothing but foolish. And just because no one has escaped the Civil does not mean I can't. Hmm...and me staying here would be quite difficult to you. If you do choose to keep me, you would probably want to me kill me straight on. Since I really am that foolish to you."
Her hazel eyes flashed with humor and she laughed to herself and relaxed into the ground.
-
"Must I force you to stay then?" Vilaya asked, narrowing her eyes. "Don't make this hard on yourself. Why don't you join us, instead? Besides, even if you did manage to escape, I have... a friend, who would easily be able to track you down."
-
Ripple sighed then lowered her head, no longer resisting. "Fine...but if I stay here...will you let my brother join too in order for his safety?" Her hazel eyes looked a bit desperate, wanting to protect her brother.
-
Vilaya nodded. "Yes." she meowed. "He may join, too."
-
She sighed with relief and stood up slowly. Twitching an ear, she tried to see through the way out and where she was before. She pointed her tail towards the way out.
"My little brother is hiding somewhere over there. I told him to stay hidden until I could find out if it was a safe place. Can I go get him? You can come too of course."
She was worried about her brother since her little brother was a mute kit and could not talk at all. He didn't really know anything and his head was messed up with scars due to a dog attack and he was just not a normal kit, kinda like a kit with special needs. Sighing, she waited for an approval.
