  • Ripple gave an uncertain look at Vilaya. She closed her hazel eyes, reliving one of the horrible moments she had as a kit. She opened her hazel eyes quickly and shook her head, stopping herself from trembling.
With a low growl, she stared at the serval. "You expect me to eat that? How do I know it's not poison or something or if it tastes bad!" Anxiety glowed in her hazel eyes as she stared at the herbs in front of her.

  • "She is an Elect, expert of healing. She can save lives." Memoria grumbled, emerging from the shadows quietly.

  • Ripple looked away, realizing she had lost her cool. Giving a small cough to cover her embarrassment, she leaned down and ate the herbs. Blinking at Memoria and Vilaya, her hazel eyes returned to their original state and a small smile formed. "Doctor's orders huh? I'm terribly sorry for the trouble...I have my own trust issues." In an annoying and high tone she said, "Where are we going next? This is such a fun little game of Follow The Leader eh?" She gave a small smirk before gazing at her wound.

Ripple, as anyone could tell, was a very insecure young cat with many mood swings.

Ripple only hoped in her mind that there wouldn't be any questions involved, for she would say nothing about her or her past or anything she knew. Her hazel eyes grew dark and she grew silent again.

  • "You may rest. Will you join us, or be imprisoned, unless Vilaya already asked." Furthered the she cat.

  • "She could join," Vilaya suggested. "New recruits are always good, and she could be... useful."

  • Ripple didn't respond. Her heart was still that of a kit, but the sad thing was she never really was a kit. Or at least acted like one. Ripple closed her eyes and took a deep breath and breathed out. Filled with exhaustion, she passed out. Her body writhed in a bit of pain before relaxing.

Ripple was half-conscious, but she listened to see what their actions would be. Keeping her eyes closed, she listened to the fast beating of her heart as the anxiety filled her body into a tremble.

I have to escape..., she thought, Something bad is going to happen...and Rock needs me...

  • Vilaya sensed Ripple's discomfort. "Hold on," she mewed. She padded out of the room, and came back with three poppy seeds. "Eat these." she ordered. "It'll help you settle down a bit."

  • Ripple forced her hazel eyes to open. She stared at Vilaya and made a small noise of fear. Ears flattening at her weakness, she lapped up the poppy seeds quickly. She was not really sure what she was doing...but she was letting her soft side show. As her breathing started to slow down, she sat up, a little dizzy. She looked at the serval, an embarrassed and pained expression crossed her face.

"I guess I am nothing more than a weak, whimpering kit." Ripple admitted with a small laugh.

  • Ripple, who was starting to relax, spoke in a grave tone. "Maybe so..." She seemed to not be as tense and insecure, probably due to the poppy seeds. Whatever it was, she hated to be soft when she had no idea where she was, where she was going, or what would happen to her. Giving a small mumble of words, she looked around silently, studying her surroundings as her hazel eyes started to grow heavy with exhaustion. Blinking at Vilaya and barely even noticing Memoria, she lay down with a long sigh.

Before she gave into the exhaustion that ached her weary bones, she whispered, "Why am I still alive?"
    Yes, Ripple was different.
Yes, Ripple was just a young cat with many hidden scars from her past.
Yes, Ripple still acted like a kit.
And yes, Ripple really didn't care.

  • Ripple only gave a slight nod and drifted off away from the world she hated.

    ooc: Yeah...Ripple is kinda...mixed?

  • ooc: Yup...her personality changes a lot.

ic: Ripple slept for a while but she never really slept for long. She really hated sleeping unless she was with someone she knew. The wind ruffled her dark brown fur, revealing a hidden small scar on her side.
Ripple, feeling a breeze on a weak spot of hers, she woke up immediately, but she was still a little groggy from the poppy seeds. Looking around, she croaked, "Where...where am I?"

  • Ripple blinked, dazed at the figure approaching her in a blur. Suddenly, she remembered. Her fur grew hot at her actions. Thinking for a moment, she thought that maybe she could just act like the whimpering kit she was. Giving an exhausted sigh, she looked up as her sight became normal and less blurry.

"Oh...right...", she spoke and paused hesitantly, "Where are you taking me? Why can't I just leave?" she demanded in an alert tone. How could she not have thought through what could happen?
Mumbling to herself, she looked up at Vilaya, her hazel eyes serious but filled with unease.

  • "Once a cat takes one pawstep on our territory, there's no going back." she explained. "Either they join us, or we take them prisoner." Vilaya sat own, and wrapped her tail around her paws. "That's what I came here to discuss, with you." she meowed, fixing her amber eyes on Ripple. "Will you join us?"

  • Her hazel eyes blinked quick, filled with decision. Shuffling her paws, she stared at the ground in deep thought. Nodding to herself, she turned to Vilaya.

"Alright...but...I will need to know what...this place is before I join. And what will happen to me if I refuse?" Ripple asked in a calm tone, her eyes filled now with question and a little nervous.

  • "This is the old cinema, home to the Civil." Vilaya explained. "We stand to oppose savagery." The serval took a deep breath before going on. "If you refuse to join, then we will take you prisoner, or if you start acting difficult, especially around me, Memoria, or any of the other high ranks, then we might decide to kill you."
