Setting-
AzaleaClan lives on the edge of a mountain cliff, in a gnarled grove of bent and scraggly willow trees. The leaders' den in made between the leaves and the trunk of a willow doubled over, but alive. The leader stands on the bent trunk to call Clan meetings. The warrior and apprentice dens are both made of caverns inside of a rocky hole in the mountain, covered by willow hangings as a curtain to cover the entrance. The medicine cats' den is made up of a shallow cave made of bending willows and leaves with a border of rocks around the outside. The nursery is made in an unkept hedge of tall azalea bushes and rocks off to the far east of camp. The elders' den is next to it and made from ferns and spacious bushes.
Ceremonies and beliefs-
Most of the ceremonies are like those of a traditional Clans'. There is one though, that is different: the Sacrifice Stones. Every time a litter of kits are born, the same number of cats as the number of kits born has to die, keeping the Clan sharply the same number of cats. Each volantary cat has to jump from the cliff ledge. If they land and float lifelessly to the bottom of a deep pool in a river below, they will join their ancestors, if they miss the pool, they will not. The Sacrifice Pool is always filled with blood of cats until the ceremony after three moons where cats arise from the pool, restored by their blood, to join their ancestors. Then the pool is clear.
