Crystalpaw and Burningpaw's bet

Icepaw shrugged. "Sure, why not? I've got nothing better to do." Icepaw looked at Nimblepaw carefully. She seemed like an okay she-cat at least . . .

She nodded at him, her eyes sparkling! "It will be just like old times" she purred happly.

Burningpaw rubbed against Rainpaw purring, then sprang forward towards the camp entrance, excited to be doing clan duties with her again.

Nimblepaw widened her unseeing eyes in shock. She was surprised that he said yes. Then the surprised look disappeared on her face with a disappointed look to replace it. Because he's got nothing better to do. she repeated in her head then sighed. "Well lets go then," she meowed, walking out of the den. Her voice was just as disappointed as her face

Rainpaw purred then dashed after Burningpaw. Once she caught up to him she sniffed the air. "I smell rabbit, mice and squirrel" he hissed lowly.

Burningpaw nodded in consentration, peering around the nature looking for the prey that Rainpaw had listed that was nearby. Finally he froze in a stance, spotting a rabbit sniffing the ground a few tail lengths in front of him. He flicked his tail in gesture for Rainpaw to stay silent and to find the exit path that the hare would take, once he revealed his position.

He came bounding back to Sweetpaw and mewed, "Hailstar says we can hunt together alone, because the patrols will be taken care of." he explained. He headed for the camp entrance with Sweetpaw and as they were walking toward he whispered in Sweetpaw's ear "You have beautiful eyes, by the way. And I love your smile."

She smiled and blushed. "Thank you. You are very handsome."

He smiled and purred, then gave Sweetpaw's ear an affectionate lick. "Thank you" he meowed.

As Icepaw and Nimblepaw walked alongside each other, he couldn't help but stare at the cute she-cat. She's pretty cute, Icepaw thought. But I could never be with anybody, least of all, her. She's too good for me. Icepaw stopped and said, "Well, where do you want to hunt?"

Rainpaw flicked her tail to Burningpaw to tell him that they had to work as a team, he was the biggest rabbit they had ever seen! It was a buck and full grown and Rainpaw thought he could never get fatter but he looked like he was pretty fast.

"Um . . ." Nimblepaw was taken off guard by his question. "I haven't thought of that," she laughed. "i guess i was too upset . . . Where do you want to hunt?"

Rainpaw waited for Burningpaw's signal to run. Maybe if they caught this they can be warriors? After all she survived the fox attack, but her eye and muzzled will be scared forever.

Burningpaw looked over at Rainpaw and nodded. He raced out of the bushes towards the rabbit.

Icepaw was surprised. "Why were you upset?" he questioned. Oh Starclan . . . Please not let it be himself who managed to upset her . . .

Rainpaw also raced after the rabbit, after a bit they both killed the rabbit together. Then she whispered, "can i see what my face looks like after the fox fight? Some cats have been staying a bit away from me, i want to see what i look like."

OOC: Hey! I thought this was a bet for Burningpaw and Crystalpaw! Not a love story for Burningpaw and Rainpaw! Can we get back to topic?

Duskshadow padded into camp. "Crystalpaw!" he yowled. "Where are you? It's time for a border patrol!"

OOC: Its both lol. And burningpaw took rainpaw hunting because its her first day out since the fox attack!

IC: "I want to see a puddle so i can see what my face looks like" mewed Rainpaw.
