  • ooc: ...even if it is, it doesn't look it. At all. =P That doesn't even make sense how it could be, so I don't know why people came up with that ...it looks like dark brown. -shrug- Oh well.

ic: Specklefur's expression showed her amusement. "Heh, why'd you run away in the first place?" she asked Lattekit, but glanced up at Bluepelt and gave a curt nod.

  • Pichiciegokit felt Duskykit's foot hit his nose.
    "Heey!" he squeaked.
Pichiciegokit lept up and tried to tackle his brother.

  • Lattekit purred, looking at her mother. "Muh-ma? When-ull I b-be a Wuuri-ur?" She asked out of curiosity.

  • <blockquote>"Hey!" Duskykit squealed as Pichiciegokit tried to attack him as well. Just in time the young tom managed to dodge the attack, but ended up stumbling and half falling.</blockquote>

  • Ochrekit snarled and pounced at Dusykit, but quickly ran behind his mother when he got hit on the head. "Mumma, I's wizzy(dizzy)." The small seal mink spun in circles and collapsed on the ground.

  • Springkit had wandered away form the others, walked up a small slope then gotten stuck in a powdery snowdrift. He chirped for help, looked alarmed as he tried to pull himself free. Being all-white it was hard to make him out until he opened his ink mouth to call for help. "I's stuck!"

  • Duskykit chuckled at Ochrekit, not exactly understanding what being 'wizzy' was but thinking it looked rather fun. Finished playing, the weary kit padded back to Chocolatemousse, just now realizing how cold the snow really was.

  • Finally the squeals had ceased--or rather moved outside--leaving Nightkit all alone with her thoughts. Finally, she thought as she stretched, eyes remaining closed. She now had room to sprawl out, and she didn't have to worry about other kits tripping over her. They were all outside now, mostly, and she could finally rest in peace. She didn't even see what was so appealing about going outside-- it was so cold. She would much rather stay inside the warm, cozy den. She could go outside some other day, when it was warmer...

She woke some time later, her stomach rumbling and empty. Her eyes opened blearily as her dream started to fade. I wonder how long it's been. She could still hear squeals of both laughter and annoyance outside as her siblings played in the snow. Her stomach rumbled again, and she realized the necessity of going outside--where her mother was. Hungry and desparate for milk, she got to her feet and stepped over to the entrance. She blinked against the blinding white, as the sunlight bounced off the snow into her eyes. The cold air made her shiver, and she felt fully awake as she stepped outside. Spotting a couple cats, black figures against the snow, the little black she-kit hurried over to one side of the clearing. "Momma! I's hungry!" Nightkit called, ignoring her littermates as theypounced on each other. Her whole body shook as she shivered, and her stomach rumbled again.

  • "Nwightkwit!" Pichiciegokit squealed.
The tabby ran to his sister.
"Wou swould bean dere! Mwossweye telded meh a stwory!" Pichiciegokit squealed.
He was shifting his wieght from paw-to-paw.

  • Snowkit had woken up from his little nap shivering. "Wommy! Get meh in the nursrey wow(now)!" Snowkit yelled at his mother acting like a sassy little butt.

  • "Mhm," Duskykit murmured, in agreement with Snowkit. He was tired and hungry, ready to nurse and take a nap. "Common!" he mewed quietly, taking a few steps toward the nursery. His short tail flicked to the side like he'd seen other cats do when they wanted to be followed. Playtime was over.

  • Chocolatemousse sighed. "Kits..." she looked affectionately into her precious bundles of fur. "It's getting quite cold. Let's go back to the nursery, dears."

  • Springkit tried again to pull himself from the soft, powdery snowdrift. He started to panic, squeaking loudly for help. What if they couldn't hear him? He might be stuck here forever! "Eeeellllp!"

  • Ochrekit quit messing with Duskykit and quickly ran over to his nephew and tried pulling Springkit out of the snow-drift. "Mumma help, Spwingkit stuck," Ochrekit caleld to Specklefur.

  • Pichiciegokit looked at Springkit. He decided to try and help even though Springkit was much bigger. The tabby tom-kit raced over to his denmate.
    "I hwelps!" Pichiciegokit squeaked.
He tried pulling on Springkit's tail. That didn't work. He was too small. That's when he fell face-forward in the snow.
    "Whoopsyes!" Pichiciegokit squealed.

  • Chocolatemousse let out a chuckle of amusement at the bravery of her kit. The tortoiseshell stood up and padded over to the snowdrift. With a paw, she carefully excavated around Springkit, until there was a pathway for him to go out.

  • "Tanks mummy," Ochrekit told his mother. He sat down with a quite umph and licked his fur trying to clean off all the snow from digging Springkit out.
