"Don't be so hesitant," She said gently, "We're both going to GreenDale for the same reason; safety. Don't worry over absolutely nothing. We'll be fine."

"It is just different, all I have done is been shoved aside getting little of what my rich family has then being a criminal in another land for things I didn't do. I've always been running."
-
"We'll be fine," She reassured, looking away. "I hope.."

Elphite nodded and started out the window

[align=center][font=times new roman]OOC: I'm gonna skip ahead to Sunrise x3
IC: Soon enough, Josephine and Elphaba's carriage came to an abrupt stop which shook her awake. She looked around, her eyes drowsy and sleepy. Sighing, she reached her arm out and grabbed her bow. Just about to get out of the carriage, she realized she was forgetting something; Elphaba. Josephine turned back around and reached her bow out, poking her new friend in the head. "Get up," She said, "We're in GreenDale."
-
Elphaba woke up and nodded. She got out of the carage quickly after her.
-
She began to walk down the path as the carriage trotted away, and Josephine saw that old tavern that her mother worked at. "This way," She said, gesturing for Elphaba to join her. She stepped into the loud, dim place where there was the smell of beer and sweaty men. "Alison Sterling!" She called out, and a few men quieted to stare at Josephine.
"Yes?" A voice rang out, carrying a silver platter. Once she saw Josephine, she set down her stuff and pulled her daughter into an embrace. The men went back to fighting and yelling, and being men. Her mother pulled away and smiled. "Why did you return? Is something wrong?"
"This is Elphaba-" Josephine said, pointing to the girl standing beside her. "She was watching me in the woods, and she's a ... special person too. She's on the run and I figure this is the only place for her."
-
Elpaba looked away from everyone when she entered exspecting many starrs
-
Josephine's mother glanced over at Elphaba.
"Are you looking for work?" Her mother asked, "We have a spot open for another server if you'd like."
-
Elphaba shrugged. "I don't know how your costumers would feel about a green skined freak serving there food." She said
-
"Use a glamour spell," Josephine said quietly, "Make your skin normal." Josephine's mother nodded.
"Yes," Her mother said, "But the spell will wear off is you fall asleep or get wet..So be careful."
-
"I can't get wet anyways so that doesn't matter." Elphaba said unsure
-
Josephine's mother gave her a exasperated look. "Do you want to work or not?"
-
Elphaba shrugged. "Sure, I guess."
-
Josephine went into the back room and came back out wearing a white cloth around her waist. "Here," She said, tossing Elphaba an apron.
-
Elphaba put it on. "What should I do first?"
-
[align=center][font=times new roman]Josephine's mother pointed to a man waiting at a lone table. "Give him a beer."
-
Elphaba nodded and got a beer for him. She walked over to his table. "Here you are." She said setting it on the table.
-
Josephine's mother patted Elphaba on the back. "Good job. Now just wait on people and do the same thing if they want a beer." Then, she walked off.
Meanwhile, across the room, Josephine was waiting on a few men.
-
Elphaba nodded understanding.
ooc: Can someone spill water on her or something? So the spell wears off and I can show why she can't get wet
