Spottedkit built a nest in the nursery and snuggled in.

Maplestar sighed and rested in her den.

Birchfur laughed. "You are the biggest kit ever." She giggled.

Spottedkit giggled too. She walked into the leader's den and asked in a pitiful voice "Where is my mommy!?!"

Birchfur laughed harder.

Then Spottedkit pretended to cry "Where is my mommy!?!?"

Maplestar ignored Spottedkit and kept licking herself.

"C'mon, Moonstar! Where's your humor?"

Maplestar turned to Birchfur, "I do not tolerate funny business in my clan!"

Birchfur rolled her eyes.

Maplestar kneaded her nest and lay down inside of it.
