• OOC: You might want to read this to know what she looks like

IC: Tamashii padded slowly into ThunderClan territories, from what other loners had told her there was normally patrols around the territories, so someone should meet up with her soon.
She jumped up onto a nearby boulder and settled down, she had what seemed like her millionth attempt at taking the strange metal things off her ears that her cruel twoleg had put there when she was a kittypet.
She waited for someone to find her as the brisk wind buffeted her fur...

  •
Applewind wandered around ThunderClan territory. He was thinking about the possibility of doing some hunting; the tom cared little for most other cats but did not take pleasure in starving. Absently, he scented the air, the action appearing to be mainly instinctive. Suddenly, his mind jolted out of whatever ambitious ideas it had been dwelling on, changing its focus to a strange scent he'd noticed. "A cat," he stated with a snarl. It wasn't even a cat of his clan which made its presence all the worse. With a you-had-better-not-annoy-me-or-else look on his face, the tabby followed the scent until it reached its end.

"What are you doing here?" he said viciously, lashing his tail back and forth. The cat was laying on a boulder and had some strange things hanging from her ears. Not that he cared. Whoever she may be, she was an intruder and unless the cat came up with a good explanation for being there he would have no problem with escorting her off ThunderClan territory.

  • "Greetings," Tamashii said, jumping off the boulder "My name is Tamashii, I mean you no harm, and I am sorry for entering your territory..."
She puffed out her chest to show the tom she wasn't scared, "I have heard much about the clans on my travels," she continued "And I decided I would like to join one, Thunderclan seemed like the best."
She stared into Applewind eyes, she held her gaze.

  • Sleetstorm had came foward from the shadows of the forest trees; her tail lashing from side to side in anger at the intruder. Her crystal blue eyes were narrowed as she walked next to Applewind and sat down, her white pelt bristling all around her body. Sleetstorm was known for being strict with the Warrior code, so an intruder was something she just could not let walk away.
"..." She was silent as she listened to the intruder's excuse, only to let out a hiss right after. "Joining a clan is not that simple. If you can't even fight off twolegs, I believe that Thunderclan will have no use for you." Sleetstorm meowed, pointing out of the strange things on the cat's ears. Twoleg scent came from it, though it was faint; but Sleetstorm could already figure that it was a Twoleg thing. Getting hit by a monster as an inexperienced kit or apprentice was one thing, but allowing Twolegs to put such humiliating thing on was something that the cat could've avoided, at least, in Sleetstorm's eyes.

  •
The brown tabby warrior gave the intruder a skeptical look. Mean them no harm. Ha, during leaf-bare any cat eating prey in the clan caused some sort of trouble. I'm not alone, he realized once more, referring this time to the she-cat warrior approaching. Being a fairly unsocial cat, Applewind made sure to keep a reasonable distance between the two of them. So much for dealing with this myself.

Wordlessly, the tom listened to Tamashii's story. Even when the other warrior spoke, he remained silent. To him, the intruder's story seemed rather pathetic, though at the same time it would have had to have been something completely incredible to actually impress him. Still, he wasn't ready to chase her off just yet. In one way he agreed with Sleetstorm, but another part of him was impressed with Tamashii's bravery. Or stupidity, he added, giving a small smile. Perhaps he should find out what she would do under a threat.

After giving Sleetstorm a sideways glance, the tom took a turn at speaking. Or, in his case, sinisterly whispering. "That so?" he meowed, taking a small step forward. "Tell us where it is you come from. If you do, maybe we'll take you to our leader. If not..." his voice trailed off threateningly, his expression communicating that she probably didn't want to find out what would happen. Oh the joy of random hunting expeditions.

  • Tamashii's pelt bristled with anger.
"You think I wanted any of this put on me!?" She hissed, then tried to calm herself.
"Look, if I could have fought off the horrid Twoleg that did this to me I would, but I was only young at the time, almost still a kit."
She turned her gaze to Applegaze, "I came from a Twoleg nest quite far away, The place that my old Twoleg lived in, where it put this stuff on me."
She flecked her claws "As you can see that beast left its mark on me though," she meowed, referring to the piercings and fur dyes that clung to her, "But I managed to get away and after I left I became a loner for a while, a kind old tom told me stories about that cats that lived in clans."
She looked down at her paws, "I thought it would be a good way to start over again," she meowed.

  •
Skeptically, Applewind listened to Tamashii's story. She didn't seem to fear them which he supposed was a good thing, though the shimmering rings on her ears were extremely distracting. Every once in a while the sun would glint off of them in just the right way to direct the light straight into his eyes. As things were, the tom missed out on hearing the intruder's reply to the other warrior, catching only that which was directed toward him. Perhaps, he thought. Her story isn't too bad. It's nothing I've heard before at least. But of course, he could never accept her just like that.

"Alright then, do you have any skill with hunting? Fighting?" he asked, still sounding reasonably hostile though lacking some of that appearance in his expression. What was his excuse for demanding more out of the she-cat? Why, that ThunderClan couldn't be bothered by another cat who had to be trained. Although this wasn't exactly true, Applewind was skilled with convincing himself that things which were false were actually correct. However, he did know that there could perhaps be some trouble from Sleetstorm.

  • Sleetstorm let out a louder hiss when this mere 'loner' hissed her response to her. Her white pelt kept bristled as she did so, even if Applewind was now talking to the intruder. Her eyes kept narrowed as Sleetstormed began to listen again, a small growl escaping her, her muscles still not relaxing as she kept ready for a fight.
"Applewind," The white she-cat hissed, "You aren't considering, are you?"

  • Tamashii sat still, ignoring Sleetstorms anger and annoyance.
"I have become quite a skilled hunter, most likely not as good as the cats of your clan, but I can hunt." she meowed "As for fighting, I am sure I would need training to become strong enough to fight off enemy's of the clan, but I can fight also."

  •
Applewind shot an annoyed look to the other warrior. I will do as I please, he thought to himself, lashing his tail. For Tamashii though, the tom could find no farther reason to delay bringing her to their leader. This bothered him. He appeared to be considering the information given to him, but really he was trying to find more questions. He couldn't. So, with an internal sigh of reluctance he gave in and with a gruff humph! he said, "Fine. We'll bring you to Nightstar." The look he shot Sleetstorm said she better not question his decision. After all, there really was no reason to leave a strong cat wandering around that could just as easily join one of the other clans.

  • "Thank you," Tamashii purred, dipping her head, "If you two are anything to go by then I think I'd love being a warrior and a member of Thunderclan!"
She padded over to the two cats and waited for their lead.

  • Sleetstorm let out a audiable hiss and turned away from the two cats. Bringing a loner too weak to fight off twolegs into the clan? She couldn't believe it. It was just asking for trouble, and more mouths to feed for no reason. The white she-cat padded away from them, hoping to speak to the other warriors about this.

    (Sleetstorm is out)

  • Here is the new thread :)
A look of satisfaction flickered across Applewind's face as Sleetstorm angrily padded off. For some reason, he enjoyed seeing such emotions from other cats. Tamashii, he quickly reminded himself, returning his attention to the she-cat. With a brisk nod of his head, he started off towards camp, flicking his tail for the cat to follow.
