{Oh, :) I don't know if I'd mentioned it, but Tainted is gray with white flecks and one black paw. Her eyes are green.}
Tainted continued to follow what sounded similar to Brambleshadow's voice and called out; "Hello?" She didn't really know what else to say. "Brambelshadow?" she called again eyes alert as she turned her head, looking to each side of the river.
Brambleshadow caught the sound of a voice. "Tainted?" he said standing up. The voice was coming from the other side of the river.
Tainted spotted what looked like Brambleshadow on the other side of the river. "Oh..." she sighed, noticing that the currents were still wildly strong.
Brambleshadow saw another darker shape across the river and as it had got closer. He knew it was Tainted. He didn't want to sound too happy, so he called out. "You alright?!"
"Fine, is your paw okay?" Tainted called out, seeing and hearing Brambleshadow.
Brambleshadow moved it around. Feeling small twinges of pain he called out. "It's nothing compared to what it was." He looked around, "Any way across?"
"I don't see any way!" Tainted called dejectedly.
Brambleshadow huffed and said "Well... I could try swimming!"
"Not with that paw of yours!" Tainted called. "Hold on; maybe I can come to you!"
Brambleshadow shook his head in dismay. "Fine, just don't get swept away!"
"I'll try not to!" Tainted mewed, slightly to herself. She slid in the water, finding that it wasn't too cold, and began to paddle.
Brambleshadow watched nervously as Tainted padded through the water. To him the water was freezing, "How is she doing that?"
Tainted began to paddle slowly, teeth chattering.
Brambleshadow leaned over the water and reached for Tainted "Hurry!"
"Coming!" she called, paddling faster.
Brambleshadow padded nervously on the bank of the river. "Please hurry..."
Tainted dragged herself out of the water. "Okay, I'm back." she mewed.
Brambleshadow scurried over. "Let's not do that again..." he sighed
"Yea." Tainted mewed, shaking herself dry. "So..." she shuffled awkwardly. "Who's your mate? Do you have kits? I love kits, they're all so adorable!"
Brambleshadow looked away "I had a mate..." He sat down and a tear came down . "Things didn't go right..."
