"Shire. She took over, since she was the eldest. She wanted to make us a clan. So I left."

"Haha, no; Clans are fine with me, I just like not being ordered around." She replied, grinning.

"You're deputy?" Tainted asked, surprised. "Wow, lucky you! Must take a lot of training!"

"Thats terrible!" Tainted mewed, eyes wide.

Tainted nodded and obeyed, padding after him.

"Yep!" Tainted purred, flicking her tail.

Tainted followed his pawsteps, eyes closed as she sniffed the air as well.

Tainted gasped as her friend was swept into the current. Breathing heavily, she waded into the river and began to paddle strongly but could not keep up with Brambleshadow. She began to swim under water and gained a little speed.

Tainted dragged herself out of the water and shook herself dry. "Dang, where is Brambelshadow?!" she muttered to herself. She slipped on the wet bank and fell flat onto her side, then got to her paws again. She followed what seemed to be his voice and took slow steps.
