    "Nightbird, if you actually could smell, you would be able to tell that there's a vole right over there. Too bad the warriors of our clan are so useless," Nilpaw said sarcastically. The black she-cat then stalked off toward said vole, catching it was exilent speed and skill.

    "well nilepaw, if thunderclan is so bad, why don't you go join shadowclan? then we could all have some peace. what do you think, nilepaw?" she said sarcastically. she buried the squirrel to pick up later.

    Lotuspaw flicked an ear and opened her mouth to scent the air. She pricked her ears and kept her light blue eyes alert. She lowered herself to the ground and balanced her weight on her paws as evenly as she could. She began to slowly follow the scent and the instructions of hunting from her mentor came back to her. Follow after the scent and try staying as.....

    Nilpaw checked the scents again, only to find that there was a trase of fox. It wasn't stale, and Nilpaw was sure of that, as much as she lothed to help her clanmates, they needed to know. "Hey knaves, there's a fox nearby," she informed the others. She didn't really care about them, the only clanmates she had were those of the Dark Forest.

    Sure enough, a large fox jumped at Firepaw from the shadows of the trees.

    Soon enough, she found a raven. She crouched lower, and readied herself to leap. She lurged forward and managed to get a grip on the bird. She padded back to where the rest of the patrol was to burry her catch. She raised her head. A fox? She wondered.

    Nilpaw sighed and ripped open the fox's side while the warrior had it destracted.

    As if to prove a point, she saw the fox leap out and attack Firepaw. Lotuspaw's fur raised and she flattened her ears against her head. She extended her claws and prepared to attack the Fox.

    Lotuspaw dug her claws into the fox's flank and cast a look at Firepaw.

    nightbird managed to scratch the fox in the eye, which sent it yelping away, hopefully out of thunderclan territory. now she could see to firepaw. she padded over to where he was lying, and was horrified to see him almost dead. she quickly grabbed the nearest plant and pressed it on his shoulder. she hoped it wasn't poisonous.
