    Leopardkit growled and scratched the deputy's nose harder than she meant to; blood started poring out.

    "If you want to be medicine cat, you must be nice to the cats that help you! I will only teach a respectful kit one day."

    Lionkit jumped up, grabbed some cobwebs from a dark crevice in the wall, and placed them onto Berrynose's nose, putting a herb poltice on, too.

    "Give me one second." She padded over to Leopardkit. "Actually, Lionkit, come here please!" "Lionkit, what will berrynose need to stop the bleeding?" "as for you Leopardkit..""Panther! Your kit is disrepecting my warriors! SHe must be taught to stop! But I will let you take care of what the punishment is. Just get her away from my new patient!"

    "Good! Lionkit! How old are you? What herb poultice was that? Did you give her poppy seeds?"

    "3 moons old, comfrey, and no," he answered hurriedly, trying to keep up.

    "I hope you can be my apprentice! Good on the comfrey, and I'll take care of the poppy seeds."

    Tigerkit smirked, thrusting hi muzzle into Lionkit's face. "Only a weak little scardy-mouse would be a medicine cat!" he said, spitting out the last words with disgust, before stalking over to join Cheetahkit, Leopardkit, and Cougarkit.

    Shimmerpool remarked, "It also takes smarts to be a med cat!" and followed Cougarstar.

    Cougarstar sat on a fallen tree waiting for lionk it and shimmerpool "I think lion it is old enough to be a medicine cat apprentice"

    Shimmerpool's eyes went wide. She whispered into Cougarstar's ear "Are you sure?"
