"I'll always love you, too, Riverwhisper. Forever and always. No, it's me who should be thanking you for your friendship, especially because I chose Heatherfoot over you. If I could have two mates, you'd be the other one," Wheatwings managed to choke out through his tears. Pressing one last cobweb against her throat, he collapsed next to her, resting his head on her flank. "I'll watch over you, precious." he whispered in her ear, so not even StarClan could hear.

As if a sign she heard, Riverwhisper breathed in deeply and began to hum a song her mind remembered from youth. Even though she was still asleep, it was like she was awake.
(The song: )
-
Wheatwings peacefully listened as she began to hum. He wondered if she was having good dreams, or nightmares of Darkthorn. A growl ripped deep in his chest as he thought of the tom.
-
(Should we do a time skip to, say, a moon later? yes, its a while, but she was supposed to die and when she didn't she needed time to recover)
-
OOC: True enough. Heatherfoot, when she finds out, is two weeks pregnant. So she'll be six weeks pregnant.
(TIMESKIP)
IC: Wheatwings squeezed out of the warriors' den and bounded to the medicine den. This was the day Riverwhisper finally moved back into the warriors' den.
-
By this time all of Riverwhisper's wounds were healed (except for the scar, which has scared once again) and she looked as healthy as ever. Soon her eyes fluttered and she moaned, opening her eyes for the first time in a moon.
-
OOC: She's been asleep for a moon?!
IC: Wheatwings, by the time she opened her eyes, was already by her side. "How do you feel?" he murmured.
-
(I can change it. Still, she did lose a lot of blood and was insanely weak)
"Tired, I guess," Riverwhisper replied, her voice cracking. Looking at Wheatwings, her eyes glowed with happiness. "You came to see me."
-
Heatherfoot woke up and stretched. She remembered that Riverwhisper was getting out of the medicine cat den. She padded over.
-
"Of course I did!" Wheatwings purred, nuzzling her. "Heatherfoot, too. Her and I were here every single day, always taking turns laying next to you. We basically never left your side."
-
Heatherfoot walked in and sat down. "How's my best friend?" she asked Riverwhisper.
-
"Better," Riverwhisper smiled at Heatherfoot before looking at Wheatwings. "You two must have gotten so bored sitting next to a sleeping cat."
-
Heatherfoot purred.
-
Smiling, Riverwhisper laid her head on her paws, looking tired still.
-
Heatherfoot licked her shoulder.
-
"What happened while I was asleep?" Riverwhisper asked, suddenly interested.
-
"Nothing much..." she said.
-
Looking at Heatherfoot's stomach, Riverwhisper purred. "You're kits are coming soon, aren't they?"
-
Heatherfoot nodded and smiled.
-
"I bet they're going to be wonderful," Riverwhisper purred, blinking her warm eyes at her friends.
