What a sight it was to behold! A fully grown mountain goat, twirling about like some fancy pancy ballerina! Clearly something was wrong with this goat. Despite being a complete oddity, he seemed relatively happy as his hoofs clomped to a silent rhythm.

This was Toby the friendly goat, currently traveling along one of the many two-leg thunderpaths. He was unaware that he was currently walking along the territory of several big cat Clans - if he knew, he would be calling for them so that he could say hello. No, rather he proceeded with only the clattering of dancing hooves revealing his position.

As he came upon Four Trees, the goat grinned with interest. How wonderfully symmetrical! Toby thought in wonder.

The jet-black tom narrowed his electric green eyes as he spotted a large, unfamiliar creature clomping across the land, looking quite idiotic in his opinion. Rising to his paws, Creux began to approach the oddity, moving surprisingly nimbly for his age; the loner's black muzzle was fringed with gray, and he was beginning to feel a bit of arthritis on occasion. Not that he was old - or at least he didn't think so. He didn't bother to pay attention to his age anymore. It was, after all, just a number. Drawing up closer to the creature, Creux halted and pricked his ears.
"Hello!" he called out, blinking in the bright sunlight. "What - I mean, who are you?"

  • ooc. Yay stalker! ^____^ *tackleluffles*

    Ooh!!

His dancing paused for a moment as meowing reached his ears. Did his ears deceive him, or was he hearing the sound of a kitty cat? Twisting about, Toby searched until his gaze landed upon a black cat. Naturally, the words Creux had said meant nothing to the goat's ears. In the way, his bleeting would mean nothing to the cat, but Toby didn't care. "Oh, hello mister kitty!" He took a couple steps closer to the cat and lowered his head so he could see the cute guy better.

  • Creux's defenses flew up immediately. What was this thing trying to do? Impale him? The middle-aged tom lifted his hackles slightly, though he didn't bare his fangs just yet. On the off chance that this creature wasn't showing aggression, he didn't want to provoke it into doing so. At the sound of the goat's bleet, however, Creux flattened his ears. Certainly that couldn't be good. It seemed to be yelling at him. The nerve! The black cat unsheathed his claws ever so slightly, allowing for the possibility of an oncoming attack.

Toby really liked this kitty. He seemed really friendly! Honestly, most cats seemed pretty friendly to Toby, but this was particularly. Why, this kitty was so excited to meet Toby, that his back did that weird curving upward thing that cats do when they're happy! "It's nice to meet you too!" Bleeted the goat cheerfully, stomping his hooves in place against the ground, as was per tradition for a proper goat greeting.

  • What was it doing now? Holy Starclan, was it going to attack? It sure looked like it! Creux flattened his ears and hissed loudly, baring his sharp fangs. He'd survived a wolf attack in his prime - he could fend off a goat now.
"I don't want to fight you!" the tom meowed forcefully, slowly.

  • A chocolate tom kit was watching from the shadows, awe clear on his face. What was that creature? It wasn't a cat, that was for sure. He had weird paws-they didn't seem like paws at all, more like rocks attached to the ends of his legs. It looked soft and nice though, so he crept out and spoke in his little high voice, "Why do you look so weird?" he asked tactlessly.

  • Dillian was alarmed and scared of the goat, to be honest; he had never seen such a weird creature before. And it showed on his face, before he remembered that he was supposed to show no emotion. The tom had decided to wear armor; and this was one of it's features. Padding over to the goat with caution, he called out with a hint of a sneer, "Who are you? Some weird mutation?"

"Seems to be," Creux meowed, approaching Dillian. His green eyes were masked, shielded with a precision perfected over many lonely, miserable moons. "It doesn't speak - I think it might be dumb." He smirked, glancing up at the goat with a stone face.

  • Bree stepped into the clearing hackles raised in defence."What is this hideous beast doing here at Fourtrees"!? She meowed unkindly. She didn't dare snarl knowing a quick jutt to the heart and she'd be through. The ginger-white she-cat continued to stare thoughtfully for a few moments before steeping closer. She hissed cautiously ready to pelt for it at any moment."Leave now"! She snarled brutally. Was she really going to order this thing to leave like that? Yes, yes she was....

Now there were a lot of the kitties! Oh, how exciting. Why, it was pretty much a full blown party at this point. Break out the disco ball and dance floor! This goat was ready to go. He wondered if cats knew how to dance, but only for a second. Of course they knew had to dance. Who didn't know how to dance? Pssssh. Everyone did.

"Do you want to dance-" He began to bleat, then remembered these cats didn't seem to understand him. Maybe if he just started dancing, they'd join in? Grinning, the goat began to clop around in a little circle, in the most bizarre of ways. "Join me!" He said, his voice wasted, since the cats could not speak goat.

  • "Holy c**p, what the h*** does it think it's doing?" Creux watched the goat, and after a moment he bust out laughing. "This is flippin' hilarious!" His eyes glowed; he hadn't felt genuinely entertained like this in a while. Somehow, he doubted that the goat was out to cause harm.

  • Bree watched this goat and couldn't help but let out a snicker of amusement."This goats funny"! She burst out laughing."Wonder what else he does"? Bree had never seen anything likes this before and was quite enjoying herself.

  • [glow=black,2,300]TOBY THE FRIENDLY GOAT[/glow]

Inching towards the cats, Toby stomped more gently and nodded his head towards them. Surely these cats could understand some sign language! There had to be a way to communicate that he wanted them to dance with him. He tried pointing a hoof at them then madly jostling his three other legs against the ground.

Cause, come on! What was a one goat dance party? Everyone needed to boogey.

  • The little chocolate kit couldn't help giggling, despite tense atmosphere from the other cats. This weirdly mutated cat was rather funny actually, even if he did look a little scary. It didn't look like he wanted to hurt them, but it seemed he couldn't be too sure.

  • Creux blinked at the goat.
"Guys, I...I think it wants us to copy it!" Giving a little laugh, the tom tried to imitate the goat's movements. He hadn't goofed off like this in years. It felt good to see a creature that appeared so lighthearted, as if it hadn't a care in the world.

  • Bree couldn't believe it."You actually excpect me, to copy that"!? She spat glaring at the hideous whatever it was. She raised her hackles tail fluffed and hissed."Fine I'll try it". She thought she had heard someone yowling at her to drop the temper tantrum. Bouncing in a circle like a care-free kit she didn't look so care-free herself."This is pathetic". She muttered.

  • [glow=black,2,300]TOBY THE FRIENDLY GOAT[/glow]

Two of the cats were getting it! Toby let out a long, high pitched bleat of praise. He was so proud of them! Look at them go, going in circles with their adorable little kitty paws weaving crisscrossed lines in the forest floor

Not about to be undone, Toby upped his antics, adding some jumping into his routine. Being he was around sixty pounds, his jumping mercilessly crushed all leaves and twigs under his hoofs. Luckily, the cats weren't really in danger - he couldn't jump any higher than two or three inches; Toby the goat was a bit chubby.

  • Bree laughed. She hadn't felt this alive in years!"Wouldn't it be wonderful if he decided to join one of them Clans"? She mewed carelessly."Then he could hang out with us all the time". She wasn't a Clanner herself but she sure loved sticking about with this thing.

  • The little kit tried to copy the goats movements, but he was still a clumsy little thing and he little paws couldn't keep up, but he tried the simpler things like jumping up and down. He couldn't stop giggling, and he thought it was terrific fun.
