• Auza, a mere, naive 9 weeks old, felt like she had seen the world and lived through an eternity already. Little did the tiny, torbie kitten know, she had seen nothing yet. It seemed as if Auza had been born waiting, pushing forward, desperate to grow up. To impress everyone.

Yes, it was true. The kitten who was a bit 'unattrative' with her head a bit too large for her body and her sharp features instead of a plump, round, 'beautiful' face only wanted to impress others. It was what she lived for. She longed to be noticed, appreciated, and loved. That was all. Little did her mother know, she had already been smart enough to hunt down her father and try to talk to him. Well, that was a disappointment.

Maybe her mother had been right about Borderpaw all along. However, the torbie had been too stubborn to believe that. Heck, she wanted to be a stylist just like Borderpaw... well, Borderpaw WAS. She still didn't quite understand the details behind his demotion. She was, as stated before, a bit naive. She still didn't want to give up hope on getting her dad to like her. It would be difficult to maintain relationships with her father and mother when they bother hated each other's guts though. Besides, Borderpaw seemed to have other kits he cared a lot more about. It crushed Auza, who was so dependent on attention, but she didn't want to admit that. She would get his attention someday.

Maybe if she became a stylist, the position Borderpaw had lost, he would notice her. Maybe. Auza, a mere 9 weeks old, didn't know if she had the talent for it. If only she had the chance to find out..

She would worry about that another time. Now, all the kitten was concerned with was becoming a trainee. She had waited all this time. She just had to be a trainee already! She was done being a kit. No one in the Elite paid much attention to her and it was time to change that. She was so desperate to be noticed.. so desperate to be liked... She just couldn't wait until she was named a trainee.. Maybe it would be today. She surely hoped so.
