Isisclaw looked up into the thick trees above. Then suddenly she leapt up onto a branch. Then just as a bird flew out of the thick branches, she leapt crashing into it, grabbing its neck then landed on the ground with a smile

GoldenTail smiled "well i wish I could do that but these old bones don't jump or climb to well." he meowed sadly.

The light brown warrior purred and said " well take a walk with me golden tail." She said burying the prey

GoldenTail buried his prey and followed the warrior.

The lithe she cat smiled and walked beside the older Tom

GoldenTail sniffed the air "it's so nice why does Leaf-bare always have to come." he meowed.

She nodded " I agree. I love this weather. But even in leaf-bare, I find beauty." She purred

GoldenTail nodded "only when you young my old bones stiffen with the cold." he muttered "leaf bare used to be wonderful."

"I know. I wish I could have seen u as a young warrior. I'm sure u were lots of fun." Isisclaw said side looking at the elder, smilling

GoldenTail nodded "when I was a new warrior I was always going into battle and almost never got a scratch on me. "he murmured thinking of the memories "but in those days it was much easier to win a battle. "he meowed.

"Why is that?" Isisclaw asked trotting ahead and lapped at the stream

"well the clans somehow weren't as hostile and we didn't know as many fighting techniques. "GoldenTail meowed "it was just sort of more simple." he meowed 'but these days there much more prey." he meowed

Isisclaw looked up and said " I know. Tougher world, tougher cats, I guess." She shrugged then continued lapping

GoldenTail lapped at the stream tasting the sweet cool water "But it's not too bad and you'll learn to live na adjust." he meowed "I wish I could still fight in battles." he sighed "sometimes I dream that i'm young again and can battle a badger by myself." he meowed.

Isisclaw watched the old Tom with thoughtful green eyes then gave his ear an affectionate lick. Then nuzzled him saying " you still are a warrior."

GoldeTail shook his head "i'm no warrior i'm worthless I can barely catch a bird now that i'm so old." he muttered.
