Ripplepaw tried to jump over the fire, but yiped in pain as the fire burned her.

Snowpaw started coughing. "We have to ... Find a way out of here!" she rasped.

"How!?" She said and fell coughing.

"Dig!" she told her. She ran to the log and started digging under it with her good paw, still coughing.

Ripplepaw got up and started to dig, coughing heavily.

Snowpaw finally broke through to the other side. "We made it!" she rasped.

When they got to the other side, Ripplepaw again fell again coughing away.

Snowpaw lay down next to her and closed her eyes, coughing.
