  • Cheetahbreeze gave a wobbly smile and she whispered "Oh Bayna, you such a strong cat but some cats have to cry if they need too..." she felt tears also beginning to rise on her eyes and a large lump on her throat but everytime she swallowed it came back. "And I will do everything in my power to help you" she meowed.

  • Bayna looked at Cheetahbreeze, She's right, but not with my kits around. I have to stay strong for them. Her voice, however, was gruff with grief when she meowed, "I know the perfect place. It's on a hilltop surrounded by the juiciest berries and the most brilliant array of wild flowers."

Then Bayna turned to Plague, momentarily shocked to see him still with her, "Plague," She began, voice guarded because she still didn't know where her reputation lay with this cat, "I thank you for your help in the past, but you can leave if you wish. I won't forget you."

Stryka was astounded by all of the cats suddenly appearing, and was sad that daddy wouldn't be back. She wondered why he left them so suddenly...

Phyla's eyes were welling with tears. She, the more clever of the bunch, had figured out that Vyce must've died... there was no other explanation. Still, she didn't want to tell Stryka. Just let her stay thoughtful, Phyla thought.

  • Cheetahbreeze nodded and dipped her head. Her neon green eyes shone with grief and she whispered in Bayna's ear "Not all is forgotten" she hoped she understood as Cheetahbreeze meowed to Plague and Bayna "I'll go get the place ready..." and before they could say anything, Cheetahbreeze whipped around and streaked away with her paws barely touching the ground.

  • Bayna sat, letting Cheetahbreeze go. She searched the sky, wondering if Vyce would be up there tonight. Her parents had always taught Bayna to believe in StarClan, just as she would teach her kits. Wrapping her tail around her young ones, she brought them close to her and whispered in there small fuzzy ears, "Everything will be alright." Both Phyla and Stryka snuggled into their mother. Bayna could tell by the look on Phyla's face that she knew more than Stryka did about Vyce.

  • Cheetahbreeze's ears roared with blood as she smelled a small trace of fox. She came to an arrupt stop and her nose flared while her ears stood pricked and wide. She felt something watching her but not a steady evil gaze but more of a young little unproffesional stare. She then was slammed into a large pile of fox scent. Oh great a baby fox! she thought with an angry snarl as she began to sprint again, but if only she knew that if there was a baby there was a mother.

  • "mom!" Stryka whispered as they waited for cheetahbreezes return, "I smell something funny"

Raising her head to the sky, Bayna took a deep breath and immediately it got caught in her throat, "fox!" she hissed under her breath. Turning to her kids she said. "youtwo stay put! Ill be back real quick, in fact go back to the rabbit burrow you were in earlier," she instructed before bursting off to confront the fox.

  • OOC:Sorry,I haven't been on lately. :(
IC:Saharaflare raised her head and took a deep breath. 'Fox!!! No!!!' She sprinted in the direction of the fox's scent, but all the while memories flooded her mind.

  • Plague watched as the three sprinted after the fox. A wavering wind shook his pelt, his gray-green eyes closed. He let out a deep sigh, his black and white pelt finally finding a place to settle down. He wasn't going to go after the fox; why bother? He knew that foxes didn't just go and attack willy-nilly; definitely not a mother fox with a kit. Any smart mother would know not to attack anything that didn't bring any harm to her and her kit. Instead, he took his chance, and turned around. He glanced over at the two whimpering kits, tail flicking.

He thought he should say something; leave them with a piece of advice they'd never forget. Oh well. He darted ahead, and with his three good paws, stumbled over twigs and rocks. He'd never be able to forget Bayna or Cheetahbreeze now. He skidded to a stop, eyes squeezed shut. He knew he'd be in debt to HawkClan now. He hated being in debt to someone. Why? He shook his head once more, trying to forget about it.

Every day was a new, crisp paper page in the book of life.

    But everyone knew paper burned.

    ooc;; Plague out~

  • OOC: whoa... That Was one intense post...

Phyla and Stryka watched in silence as the black and whitE cat darted away. Hearing SaharahFlare yell fox, fear rippled down the kits spines, with only slight hesitation they listened to their mothers orders and flew back to the rabbit warren.

Finally Bayna reached Cheetahbreeze, "I scented fox, what's goin on?" the she saw the small cub, but another scent threaded it's way through the forest wreathing itself through the forms. There were other fox around...

  • Cheetahbreeze's ears pricked and she whispered "Stand still..." almost right in front of them a pair of dakr amber eyes stuck out of the darkness but she could hear the low menacing snarl as it slowly and elagantly with his yellow-white teeth baring. The small cub barked with excitment and it tried to imatate its mother.

    OOC: Woah......that is deep!

  • Bayna's grief became momentarily forgotten as she prepared for battle. It was odd, really, how much battle exhilarated her, yet she only inflicted pain on those that had it coming for them. She may not be clan, but in the short time she was with her father, he had taught her a great deal of fighting maneuvers. Fox fighting included on that list...

Trusting in her friends strength and agility, Bayna meowed, "Try to get its belly when I distract it, I've got a plan," angling towards the fox, she practically roared a battle cry, sounding ominously like her very very distant cousin, the lion. With a strength only attained by a lifetime of practice, she aimed to land on the foxes face.

  • Saharaflare stopped in her tracks when she saw the fox,a big snarling brute. How could she forget what a fox had done to her best friend? She could still hear the pleads of Desertrain...... 'Saharaflare!Help me,please!' Frozen, she could see Bayna and Cheetahbreeze out of the corner of her eye,but she couldn't move.

  • Cheetahbreeze let out a battle yowl and in a flash she was under the fox's belly and clawing madly at it as blood roared in her ears as she heard it howl in pain. She was quick but not that strong as the fox flung her around but she dug down deeply on it stomach. She caught a glimpse of Saharaflare frozen. "Sahara-what-are-you-doing!?" she yowled as the words came out every time she was flung around.

  • Growling with a fury, Bayna flung herself on top of the fox, digging her claws deep into its back and scratching long, deep gouges. Blood immidiately welled from the scratches and began to drip down the sides. Practically doing a flip, Bayna landed right on the foxes face, and clawed at its eyes with thorn sharp and deadly curved claws.

OOC: it's not powerplaying if i say i hurt the fox, right?

  • OOC: No it's not powerplaying! ^^

IC: Cheetahbreeze felt a small sting of pity for the fox, it was only protecting its kit.

OOC: Sorry for the short post, have 2 go eat! XD

  • Bayna stopped her vicious clawing, only to give the fox a hard kick that had it yelping. Bayna saw the pity in Cheetahbreeze's eyes, but she had to realize that Bayna, too, was protecting her kits. And the term fox-heart didn't go around for nothing.

    OOC: It's fine :-)

  • "No...no...!"Saharaflare shook her head as memories flooded her mind.

    That day......Desertrain and I were hunting...A fox came,it snapped Desertrain in its jaws,he begged me to help him...'Please,help me,Saharaflare!'...But I just stood by...I was too scared,and so...my best friend...died...
