Fawnpaw's Training Session

    Newly Apprenticed Fawnpaw sat outside of the Apprentices' Den, waiting for her Mentor. Her eyes flashed excitement at everyone who passed, as if saying I'm an Apprentice now!

    Fleetwing went to the apprentice den to fetch her apprentice. "Fawnpaw!" She called. "It's time!"

    Fawnpaw almost jumped at the sound of Fleetwing's voice. The she-cat turned around quickly and dashed to where her Mentor was standing. "What are we doing today? Is battle training hard? Are there any different types of animals on Riverclan territory that could be prey, but aren't hunted?" Fawnpaw bombarded Fleetwing with questions.

    "Let's start with the first question." Fleetwing laughed. "Today, we will go on a tour of the territory. I'll show you the borders and we might see some prey while we are out."

    Fawnpaw bobbed her head enthusiastically, following her Mentor out of Camp. As a kit even yesterday, she wasn't allowed to explore the territory. What wonders the Camp had hidden from her!

    "This is the entrance to the camp." Fleetwing explained as they padded through the tunnel. "Be careful not to snag your pelt on the brambles." She warned her.
