Halfclaw, a starkly loyal Hawkclan warrior, bristled. "Rebellion? Are you out of you mind?" Her eyes were steely, silver green. "What is there to rebel against?" Stripeheart was bothered, too. The slim, brown and white tabby glanced at Nightclaw untrustingly. Was he some sort of psychopath? She suddenly felt protective, and wondered if it was due to the newly growing kits in her belly.

Badgerwhisp looked at Halfclaw and shook his head. "Don't bother to try to understand, there's no changing his mind now. He will try to rebel, and that is his choice."
-
Nightclaw vaguely remembered that. "You chose to come and were pretty happy about it. I told them because I didn't want to lie to them. You blamed me, of course, who wouldn't? But it was your fault that you went crazy. And they survived. And when they came back, you rejected them. You wouldn't feed them or your newborn kits. You left everyone to die."Spottedcloud threw up her chin, glaring defiantly into the amber eyes of her ex-mate. "You didn't wanna lie to them. You told them because you wanted another cat besides yourself to be hurting. That's exactly why you're doing this little 'rebellion.' I'm sure the rest of your mother's kittens get the same treatment. She's the damn deputy, of course she's gonna be busy! And your father is dead! He's never coming back! No wonder he never speaks to you!"
-
Ngithclaw's voice rose as he spoke, "Can you read my mind? No! I lived them and told them the truth so they didn't find out later and blame us! They were upset and didn't know what they were doing when they left! And when they left, you lost your mind! You were abusive towards our newborn kits! And when they came back, you ignored them! You were abusive towards the cats you were mourning! You're still crazy and always will be! Of course Hawkstar is going to choose ou to say something because you're crazy and she knows that you can make up a thousand things from your poisoned mind to make me look bad." he turned towards the audience. "I'm not a bad cat, just sick and tired of HawkClanners not getting enough attention!"
-
Winterpaw lashed her white tail as her gold gaze glared at the tom called Nightclaw. She had rarely heard of this tom from other Hawkclanners and wondered what got him so rilled up. She took a glance toward Speckledpath but couldnt help but smile at her friend. That smile faded as she looked around trying to find Whitetail and what she thought of her son being up there and about to be exiled by Hawkstar.
-
Spottedcloud turned to Hawkstar, not responding to Nightclaw. "There, Hawkstar. You have heard my argument." she turned down to the Clan, and though it wasn't necessarily her turn to speak, she yowled, "Who agrees that he is guilty?!"
-
Evermore watched Nightclaw and Hawkstar. She had made up her mind that she would leave and see if she could join Nightclaw because he was right. The rules did not apply to high positions. Evermore prepared to leave.

Bear was late. Very late. How did this make her look? She had never attended a meeting and had been a member of HawkClan for what? At least a couple of moons. She spent most of her days outside of camp, but today she had lingered on the border and gave herself time to think and sunbathe, and although she didn't mean to, she had fallen asleep in the process. It was just now the brown tabby had awoken to a gathering of the clan beneath the highrock, where a cat was giving reasons for something against a crazy-sounding tom. Erk. Bear decided that she better catch up. With short, quick steps, she made her way into the crowd and sat down. The she-cat had asked a question--the kit knew that from the tone, but Bear had not clearly heard the exact words from her distance.

Shrewface had just returned from hunting when she heard of rebellion. She had wanted to rebel, but never had the guts to. "NightClaw is right!" she yelled.
-
Badgerwhisp looked at Shrewface. "Actually, you and Nightclaw are both wrong. But now that you've said it, I bet you and that idiot are both gonna get exiled, what fun!'' the cougar mewed sarcastically.
-
"I'm not afraid of you anymore!" Shrewface hissed.
-
Bear's gaze turned to Shrewface, and her eyes narowed in disdain. Some respect! She thought sourly, holding back a hiss. Did this cat even know who she was talking to and what she was saying?
-
"Well I can definitely make note of how stupid you are now, I mean unless it's a smart thing to pick a fight with a full grown cougar," Badgerwhisp got up from his lounging position and looked down at her.
-
"For the sake of HawkClanners everywhere, I'll do it." Shrewface meowed.
-
"Back off." Nightclaw ordered Shrewface. Wow. What a stupid Tom, ordering cat's around, already.
-
"Really? "For the sake of HawkClanners"? You're not really fighting for HawkClan, if you haven't noticed," he pointed out.
-
"Well, for our rights." Shrewface meowed.
-
"Back off." Nightclaw ordered Shrewface. Wow. What a stupid Tom, ordering cat's around, already. -
"Why don't you actually listen to who you're fighting for? That usually works out for cats." Badgerwhisp mewed.
-
Shrewface would show them. She would show them all.
