Rogue Message, Dead Kit Delivered

    River stalked up to Wrathstar's Den, then pushed inside, uncaring if she was disturbing him. She dropped the dead kit, Grasskit to be specific, and left her scent all over him. The message was clear, We have our revenge . . . This was referring to Agateblaze, for killing River's mother, and her comrade, Storm's, father. River scurried out of Wrathstar's den, and back to the Nursery.

    Rustpaw walked up to Wrathstar's den and looked inside. Who put Grasskit in here? He wondered, then memory came flooding back through him, making him sad even though he thought he'd gotten over it. The two rogues had come in and killed Firekit, Waterkit, and Grasskit and Rustpaw didn't have the strength to stop them! They had taken Firekit and Waterkit with them, and told Rustpaw to put Grasskit in the leader's den. But he couldn't do it immediately; he had to be alone. He left the camp for a while, and when he came back, Grasskit had already been put in the leader's den. He wondered; because of this, would he never become a warrior?
