Nightmares happen on nights like this...

Belle nodded at him. ''I get it'' she said quietly.

He nodded.

Belle looked away, at the moon.

The wolf looked up at the moon and suddenly howled.

Belle's eyes flicked to the wolf.

The wolf stepped out of the shadows. Its eyes barely focused on the people near it.

The kid looked at the wolf with fear in his eyes as he berries his face in his scarf.

Belle blinked slowly and her hair went long and almost...violet. That had never happened before. She fingered it curiosly and her eyes went golden.

Henry flicked his ears.

Belle glanced worriedly at the sky and her eyes darted around. ''I..I have to go'' she said, her words slurring.

"Why?" he asked.

''I need to'' was her reply. She staggered into the darkness.

The wolf melted into the shadows, following her.

He followed her silently.

The wolf looked at him following her and seemed to smile, but didn't make any noise.

Henry looked back at the wolf, then back at the shadow flooded road.

Belle kept walking, stumbling and falling at the end of the road. A choking sound echoed through the area as her crouched form curled up. A dark light seemed to cloak her, keeping others at a distance.

The wolf growled in the shadows. She didn't like it.

The shadows swelled, covering Belle. A muffled whimper was heard before an explosion of darkness swirled around her as she stood up. Her hands had morphed into long, daggerlike claws and her face was contorted into a snarl. A tail with a spiked end rose above her as she floated effortlessly. Her eyes were black and her hair was red as blood.

The wolf's fur bristled, and her tail lowered.
