    Wow, another Flurry litter.


    The Parents:


    Father Flurrypaw - black and white tom with yellow eyes.


    Flurrypaw's relatives:


    Father: Flyerheights - calico tom with odd eyes (one blue one green)
    Mother: Okami - tortie she-cat, Japanese Bobtail
    Uncle: Thrasherclaw - brown tabby tom with amber eyes


    Mother Trilliumblaze - torbie F1 Savannah, gold eyes


    I already know that half the litter will have crooked, shortened tails.

    Females: Tortie, Torbie, calico.
    Males: Brown tabby, black, black and white.


    All Tabbies Ticked!


    They'll be Cinammon carriers.


    Eyes should pretty much be yellow or gold.


    All males sterile.

    Trust me Pine, I know what Trillium is, Wild's just using synonymous adjectives. Like using cinnamon as another word for brown.

    Yeah, and there's no way you could get a cinnamon coloured F1. F1s have serval parents and servals have no cinnamon lines.

    Ah, the "cinnamon" use got me confused, and I know nothing about Savannah's then that they're a hybrid. xD Thanks for letting me know.

    Female kits: Torbie, torbie calico, brown tabby, brown tabby/white.
    Male kits: Red tabby, brown tabby, or either with white.


    I didn't give her anything carried because I don't know her parentage.

    Sorry if I'm intruding, but Okami carries the longhair gene. Maybe Flurry's kits could have long hair. Just a bit of info...

    Hm? I always thought he was a short hair...Whatever! Oh, his great-grandmother is a calico...Okami's gram, Okami's mom was a Calico too....

    Yeah, which means that all of Flyerheights' and Okami's kits are long-haired. This was the picture I'd been using.. xD


    Do they ALL have to be longhaired?


    Okami is a tortie! Sometimes torties can be almost all black! It happens quite a lot, in fact the black usually dominates in a tortie.


    And as a pure Japanese bobtail, she will impart one gene for the abnormal tail on her kits. However, the gene that causes the tail's shortening and folding is an incomplete dominant, meaning that in cats with only one copy, the effect is not as extreme as in cats with two copies{like Okami} The kits will all have shortened and somewhat twisted/bent tails, but no other health effects. They will not have the extreme "bobbed" folded tail effect that their mother has.


    ALL of Okami's offspring will have these tail abnormalities.


    And Flyerheights is a calico, actually! If he has enough white on his head that it covers most of it especially around one eye and ear it makes sense that he'd be odd-eyed. You sometimes get that in high-white bicolours.


    Now for the colours. Flyerheights is breeding for black.


    Female kits: Black, tortie, calico, black and white.


    Male kits: Red tabby, black, red and white or black and white.


    If Okami carries longhair the kits could have short or long hair. {The gene does run in Japanese bobtail breed} If not, all the kits will be shorthaired.
