Bramblepath scented the air. "Oh no...." he mewed and looked around for something. "I smell a badger--and the scent is fresh!"

- hackles raise - " The thorn bushes must've his his scent ! "

"I guess it did," he rasped "Lets chase it out, or kill it!"

- positions my stiff body for a fight -

Bramblepath waits for the badger to attack, his green eyes staring at YellowFlower making sure she was ready too.

- scoots over in front of RoseWish to protect her -

When the badger didn't attack Bramblepath made a move to scratch the badger's side.
The attack hits the badger and the badger hits Bramblepath, hurting his leg, but not breaking it.

- jumps on the back of the badger sinking my claws into its shoulders - " Don't think you'll get away with hurting BramblePath! " I hissed.

Bramblepath didn't stop to see if his leg was okay, he ran back over to the badger and started scratching it with claws unsheathed.
The badger was furious and trying to stop the cats from attacking it.

- loses grip and gets flung onto the ground -

Bramblepath was angry at the badger, then seeing YellowFlower get flung to the ground made him want to kill this badger, he slashed at the badgers eyes with claws unsheathed then ran over to YellowFlower. "Are you okay?" He asked, staring at the badger in case it attacked.
The badger was blinded from the attack and scented the air looking for Bramblepath's scent.

Rosewish was startled. She inched backwards deeper into the cavern, not looking where she was going. "AGH!" She screeched as she lost her footing, slipping into a hole and landing hard on her back.

"Are you okay?" He yowled when he heard Rosewish.
The badger moved it's way closer to Bramblepath.

- struggles to my feet - " Bramblepath! Watch out! " I yowled throwing myself at the badger. " Get RoseWish! " I demanded.

Bramblepath nodded and ran over to get Rosewish.

- rakes claws down the badgers back -

Bramblepath looked back at YellowFlower making sure the badger wouldn't hurt her.
The badger tried to throw YellowFlower off.

- digs claws deeper into the badgers back making a grip, sinks teeth into the neck of the badger -

Bramblepath thanked StarClan the badger wasn't able to throw her off.
The badger took a final breath and collapsed onto the ground, dead.
