    Blossom stopped when she found a clearing, taking a few swipes at the air, blindly, and lashing her tail.


    River pricked her ears. They were talking, but what about?

    "I'd love to! " Stormtail whispered in delight. "River." he whispered dreamily as he walked to her side.

    "i...i..." he said pretending to be weak. "I-" he started but leaped at River playfully.

    She yowled and was bowled over under the weight of him. "Hey-!" But she knocked her head against a tree as they fell. "Ow." She squeaked in a small voice.

    "Oh! Are you okay?" Stormtail fretted as he padded around River briskly.

    Stormtail just sat there looking out at a patch of grass.

    Suddenly, his eyes light up. "Look! Ash!" he said in delight.

    "Um... The herb, ash. For viper and adder bites." he said as he got up and gathered some bark. Suddenly he stopped and froze. "Riverwater!" he yowled as he ran to a beautiful, shimmery, light silver-blue she-cat, who's light blue eyes sparkled even more when she saw him.

    River stopped, her pelt prickling. "I'll... be training." She mewed, disappearing to a different clearing rather than the one her sister was in.

    "Wait!" Stormtail said as he ran to River. The pretty, sleek she-cat kept up. "River, this is Riverwater. Riverwater, this is River. River, Riverwater was my BEST friend in the Clan! She was so kind and funny and helpful!" he said as the Riverwater gazed at Stormtail, her eyes glimmering.

    "Yes, well, I'm training." Mewed River, eyes glittering in annoyance as she glanced at the she-cat. She spun around, her back to them, and swiped at the air.

    Stormtail stepped back, hurt by River's reactions.


    "Why are you acting like that? Or are you in real life this mean?" Riverwater snapped, her eyes glittering. "Ever since you met me you've been prickly. I've seen you before, you're not like this." she said.
