• Lapis blue eyes scanned the unknown territory before her, gentle white paws slowly traversing forward, head bent low and body aching with bitter unease. Swiftpaw knew very well she shouldn't have gone here unsupervised, but she had to make sure that Shatteredvoice's death wasn't for nothing; and because she owed this to Murkywaters and the rest of Riverclan. Timberpaw, she believed his name was, had single handedly murdered their Medicine cat, and Swiftpaw wasn't going to ignore the inevitable - not when there was something she could do about it. Besides, he was trained in the arts of herblore, not how to use his claws. Looking at it that way, perhaps Swiftpaw had a better chance, even though she was nothing more then a seven month old apprentice with a big ego.

Slowly padding through the upturned soil, the younger sister of Bearstar slowly retraced her steps from only a month ago when she had taken this road to Stormclan with Murkywaters, keeping her cold nose high, aware of the sounds of the forest around her.

  • It just so happened Timberpaw was out here once again collecting herbs. Since no one was ever injured in his clan, the tom spent his time wandering the territory and collecting herbs by the border. Now a days, there seemed to be many cats strolling on over the border. It was like they trespassed as if they did it all the time. Today was not the expection.

Timberpaw narrowed his light green eyes in irritation. "Awh StarClan, not another one." The brown tabby tom grunted as he dashed out of the bush. The medicine cat apprentice trotted over to Swiftpaw. The she-cat looked familiar. Then he remembered Swiftpaw has come here before with his mate. He watched as the apprentice trotted closer and closer to walking over the scent markers.

  • [fancypost borderwidth= 0px]Swiftpaw slowly anchored herself closer as the scent of Stormclan drew near, feeling the rush of anticipation crawl up her spine. But nonetheless, hearing the vivid sounds of leaves crunching, the tortie froze in her tracks as the fur along the nape of her neck slowly rose, her tail lashing as her breath caught in her throat.

Looking around wildly, the Riverclanner let a low growl rasp from her throat, ears pinned to her skull. "S-show yourself!"[/fancypost]

  • Timberpaw willingly revealed himself. The tom didn't even try to suppress the chuckle that instinctively came out. A glint of amusement flickered in his light green orbs. The tabby was most likely twice as large as the apprentice. Just because he had the 'paw' ending didn't mean he was young. Timberpaw gave a michievous smile. "Well, well. Look who thinks they are leader. Commanding an enemy cat to show themselves. Quite brave I must confess." The Medicine cat apprentice meowed, trying to sound amusingly formal.

  • [fancypost borderwidth= 0px]The she-cat's gaze flickered to the side as a flash of brown fur caught her eyes, her claws seething into the stranglehold of bramble and gorse, fur rising as the daughter of Soliepaw and Cougareyes took in the tom's full appearance, narrowing her eyes before letting her lips slowly curl over her teeth. The scent this tom emitted made it clear to her where he was from, yet his name was still a mystery.

"Stop running your mouth, fool. I'm not here to play whatever twisted game you had in mind." Swiftpaw growled, feeling her face grow hot as she stared at Timberpaw's much larger appearance. She was here now, and as few as she was concerned, there was no time to go back.

"Whats your name?" The blue tortie practically ordered without heeding the moment, her tail lashing to the side.[/fancypost]

  • Damn, this was the daughter of Cougareyes no doubt. The brown tabby shook her head. "My my my. You have a quite fiesty personality." The medicine cat apprentice commented aloud. His light green eyes were fixed on the apprentice's crystal eyes. It was apparent she was recently made an apprentice by the way she acted on other's territories.

The brown tabby took a lazy seat in front of her. Timberpaw delayed his response by giving his forepaw a slow lick. His chest heaved in an amused sigh. "Hm, let me think. No, I am not Murkywaters, but I am of relation to him. Take a guess sweetheart." Timberpaw snickered, trying to annoy Swiftpaw.

  • [fancypost borderwidth= 0px]Blue eyes narrowed as she listened to Timberpaw, feeling the every fiber in her being purse with a tremor. She didn't like this guy's attitude, and it was that that bubbled her firey temper.

"Hm, let me think. No, I am not Murkywaters, but I am of relation to him. Take a guess sweetheart." Swiftpaw's gaze adjusted right then as her ears slowly lowered to her skull, swallowing the lump in her throat before rising on her hackles. Seemed she didn't need to go much further to find the tom. "Why'd you do it?" The tortie meowed dryly after a moment of silence, gazing into his odd green eyes, feeling nothing but hatred. "Why'd you Shatteredvoice?"[/fancypost]

  • Awh sh*t. It was another one of those curious cats. Damn them. Timberpaw's eyes dimmed. "I didn't. It was another cat." Muttered the tom, his light green gaze fixed on the RiverClanner. He would not loosen his gaze as it was a sign of lying.

  • [fancypost borderwidth= 0px]The blue tortie point simply scoffed, feeling her lip quiver over her lip in anger before tensing her muscles. "You really think I believe that?" Her voice was laced with utter disdain as her blood ran cold, her long tail now twice it's size, lashing to and fro from beside her. "You're a damn fool, coward. Not enough pride to even admit it? Pathetic."

And with that, Swiftpaw's legs buckled from underneath her as she found herself inevitably lunging forth towards the brown tabby, arms extended, and claws unsheathed. She knew she didn't stand a chance, but it was her anger that seemed to fuel her into her sudden motives.[/fancypost]

  • Timberpaw was taken a back by Swiftpaw's attack. The tom tried to step away, but Homicide's dark forest outline appeared next to him. The black smoke prevented him from avoiding the attack. The blue tortie point crashed into the medicine cat apprentice. He yowled in anger. The brown tabby aimed to fling the apprentice off using his hindpaws which were braced beneath the she-cat.

His light green eyes flickered over to see Homicide laughing before he faded away. "Screw him." Muttered the StormClanner, a bit too loud.

  • [fancypost borderwidth= 0px]A piercing snarl vibrated in her throat as Swiftpaw felt claws dagger into her side, her momentum thrown off as she was pushed to the ground, a new set of claws tearing into her skin. The blue tortie point jerked back as she hissed, thrusting her hind legs forth in an attempt to puncture the black smoke's abdomen, but to no avail. "This isn't your fight! Get the f*** off me!"[/fancypost]
