Rays eyes burned like fire yet they were calm, her grey fur brushed Hantons as she looked at the loner waiting for a response.

Cinnamon was only just holding back a growl, the loner was making so many of them fight. Ray was doing a good job at keeping her cool though.
-
Jet was growing antsy. He sat down and decided to calm down. Instead of thinking about Night Sky he focused back on Astrid. He just couldnt get over at how beautiful she was. He deffinetly wanted to make her his mate, but how and when would he ask her. Hes only known her for a couple hours. Jet became nervous and he knew Astrid would be able to smell his nervous scent any second now.
-
"Well wouldn't you stick around the place your family raised you before they died?!" Night Sky snapped, irratated. "It's the only memory I have of them, so back off! Your the newcomers here!" Her fangs were beared, tail raised and fur bristled, before deciding she had enough of this and running off in another direction, but not before letting a dark and angry snarl.
-
Astrid sat there next to Jet waiting for a response from Night Sky and then she smelled a nervous scent. She smelled around until the scent was strong and she realized that her nose led her to Jet. "Why are you nervous? Are you okay?" she asked Jet.
"Huh...oh im fine, no worries." he lied. He continued to stare into her eyes and he imediatly succumned to her beauty. "i was just wondering if you...um...would like to...um...be my mate?" he asked
Astrid was astonished, she never thought about having a mate, but she was glad to finally have one. Then she looked into his eyes but what she saw was darker. Should i be with him, i luc him but there is something different about him, she thought to herself. "i would luv to." she replied while licking his cheek and muzzle.
-
Ray looked at Night-sky, "No need to get nasty...." She looked at Hanton, she spoke softly in his ear, "We should let him stay in camp....I'll try reasoning with him...." She muttered flicking a burning green gaze as Night-sky. She lowered her head and she walked forward, "We are sorry that we were.... Trespassing...." She looked back at Hanton knowing that she would regret this, "I wouldn't mind letting you stay the night if it is ok with Hanton...." She muttered turning her blazing emerald gaze back to the wolf.
-
"Why should I trust you?" She barked, whirling around after skidding to a stop after hearing the she-wolf come after her. "I've just met you. How do I know your not going to gut me once I'm asleep?" Night Sky asked with suspicion, amber gaze looking straight into Ray's eyes, fur still bristled and lip slightly curled upwards, showing one canine tooth.
-
Ray shrugged, "Alright...But we are offering you shelter and warmth..." She barked. Her eyes were directly looking at Night's eyes, "But it's your choice...Continue running and having to look over your shoulder....Or stay with us where its safe...." Her fur layed completely flat as the wind stirred.
-
"I'd prefer running looking over my shoulder, thanks." Night Sky barked with a smirk, before running away again. These wolves were generous, but she had a better idea then join them... Why not just follow them and eat from their kill?
-
Hanton, no matter how much he was against the idea of letting the wolf stay with them, had allowed Ray to do what she felt right, all the while keeping his gaze locked on her. He gave a little growl at how easily the loner brushed Ray off. He stepped forward and nuzzled Ray gently, giving a low growl after the wolf.
-
Ray nuzzled Hanton back, "Its a loss....She had a different personality...." She muttered. She closed her green gaze and snuggled into Hantons pelt.
-
Hanton finally tore his gaze from the wolves direction bringing his head to his mates back and nuzzling her beautifuly soft fur.
-
After getting a bit away, Night Sky arrived at her den, what was left of a former pack kill waiting for her. She stole a bit in the night, and was eating it since, but would have to find more soon- The last mouthful was now being eaten. Afterwards, eyes and ears alert, she trotted outside, looking around.
-
Cinnamon carefully watched Night sky through half closed eyes
-
Hanton rest his head a moment more before reluctantly lifting it and surveying the rest of the pack and suroundings. Two wolves on one night... he didn't like the possibilities of what else was waiting for them.
-
Astrid and Jet decided to take a walk up a mountain trail. They were pelt to pelt when walking. Astrid had trusted Jet enough to follow him. She wondered where it would take them, would she see lush green woods, thick misty forest, or more mountains? She was getting excited and could hardly wait to see.
Soon they reached the top and Astrid saw many more mountains, and the mountains were slightly covered with forests. She looked at Jet, amazed at how beautiful it was. She was basically speechless. "This was were my former pack and i lived together." Jet said. "After chasing me away i decided to stick around this place because it is full of prey, but my pack had left about a mile away from here. The only reason i dont dare walk down there is because they send guards and hunters down there to patrol and look for me." Jet explained.
"now i must tell you the truth." he said, turning towards Astrid, who looked frightened. -
"my former pack was known as the Tri-Moon Pack, and we lived here in the Forbidden Forest." Jet explained. "look, i didnt run away because of a cannibalistic wolf was in my pack. I ran away because I did something terrible. Its a long story but i will cut it short to get to the point.............I killed some of my own pack members, not the cannibalistic wolf." Jet had said, in a rather monotone tone, like he didnt care.
Astrid was shocked and was in disbelief. She had backed up a few paces from him and started to tear up. She couldnt believe that her new mate had just told her that he was a murderer. And she thought she had found her true love until, just now, he crushed her dream. She turned around and sprinted away, she didnt look back, not even for a second. She just ran down the trail into the Forbidden Forest. -
Jet sat there, he thought that if he was honest she would stay with him and not mind about the burden he carried on his shoulder, but instead, she ran away from him. He didnt go after her because he could move, it was like he was glued to the ground. Je continued to sit there in disbelief, looking in the direction of where Astrid ran.
-
Cinnamon saw Astrid run back towards the pack, with tears in her eyes, Cinnamon jumped up and went over to Astrid. "What's wrong Astrid, you can tell me." she whispered to Astrid
-
"oh it nothing Cinnamon, no worries im fine." astrid replied, holding back her tears. She walked into her den and layed there, with her back to the entrance. She couldnt believe it, she wished that this was all a dream, but she knew it was reality.
