    Mintfrost scanned every nest of SnowClan warriors. She returned to the she-cat. "I don't see any silver she-cat with blue eyes and white paws." She meowed. "Don't worry though," she added as she saw the she-cat starting to worry, "Briarstar is still sending out patrols to find anymore flood victims. Maybe she'll turn up."

    I woke up beside the she-cat.


    Mintfrost meowed, "Call me or Fernpaw if you need anything." She padded away to check the other SnowClan warriors.


    "What's your name? I'm Lionfang," I meowed.

    I nodded. "That's a beautiful name for a beautiful she-cat." I looked into her nest and saw her fur drying slowly. I could tell she was cold and there was enough room for two cats in her nest so I climbed in beside her and helped warm her up.

    I woke up beside Lightningfur and found her still asleep.

    I sniffed her dry pelt and sighed with relief as I realized she was alive, but she had a chill.
