  • ||Bloodspatters is the name of the Daelaudons. Also, any cats need healed? Rain needs to do something other than fight to live up to her title.||

Rain pinned the deputy, pummeled his stomach until he yelped, and the fierce medicine cat yowled and her icy eyes blazed blue fire as she dragged him down again and killed him. Bloodspatters yowled in agony mixed with grief as she did so, and Rain pelted away to find cats injured from her own group.

  • Aixo screeched as a Daelaudon slashed the back of her neck. She fell over, barely breathing.

    OOC: Rain to the rescue?

  • Rain leapt swiftly over the trickling stream like a rabbit and dissappeared into her den like a mouse into it's hole. She emerged again with a tangle of cobwebs, a leaf pouch of margold leaves, and some thyme, leaping onto the stone jutting from the murky water that was collecting bloodshed and slashed at a black Daelauon, pinning him and slitting his throat all around, making him choke. She bounded toward Axio and set down the herbs, yowling and biting into his neck and not letting go despite the thrashing of his head. She pummled his belly and tore into it, his neck snapping, cutting off a loud alarm call. She immediately pressed cobwebs onto the slash, and they soon turned blood red, but the bloodflow paused. She quickly chewed up the leaves into a creamy paste and smearing it over the cut for infection. She attempted to nose the deputy to her paws. "You might need to rest... I'll bring you some poppy seeds, it will ease the pain..."

  • ||Yes, yes it does. I have to look at the herbs again ^^ I forgot all the soothers and I remember one gives a cat strenghth, and such. :P||

"It's only a little way... Come on, you can do it," Rain coaxed in an unusually soft, motherly voice. Before she came to Second Bones she was a queen, but left them with their father to become a medicine cat. She didn't practice the voice on her kits, but she still had it trapped like a bird under her paw inside. Once they were near the den, she lent her shoulder for support and padded forward, letting Aixo settle down before quickly fetching herbs as she cleverly wound through the throng and sprang over the river, and returned with two bundles of herbs.

  • Aixo followed obediently, hating the thought of leaving their leader alone to fight. Somehow she managed to croak, "When I'm fine, I'm going back."

  • Rain nodded, pressing more cobwebs on the wound with her muzzle and tinging the outer with more marigold leaf paste. Then she burrowed into her herbs and nuzzled a purple chamomile toward her. "Eat it. It soothes your anxiety without making you sleep, and it adds to your strength," she mewed, glancing outside. "Also, here's some lavender. You can eat either, but for both, only the flowers and leaves are edible, and the scent of the lilacs soothes you. But only one, because I'm going to give you one more thing that isn't quite an herb..."

    ||It's honey, just so you don't panic :3||

  • Rain pelted out into the battle, grabbed a wad of moss dripping in golden liquid, and went back to Aixo. "Just drink it, it's honey. Surpy sweet, but not too sweet. It'll help your throat's pain," she promised, setting down the moss. Just sit up first, and squeeze it from the moss," she instructed. "Now, I'm going to go help Shatter with Bloodsplatters, possibly use 20a, and you can come if you think you can for backup," she mewed, glancing out.

  • Aixo obediently licked at the moss, still watching the camp. When she felt ready, she was going. No one would stop her!

  • "Should I try to close up the wound, or do you want to head out into battle, first?" she mewed softly, smearing a new coat of marigold leaf paste on the wound with a sheathed paw, using her pads.
