Kairavi lets out a roar of pure rage as arrows bounce off of her scales, falling harmlessly back to earth. She felt the weight of Salem leave of back and began to panic for a moment, looking around wildly. A soothing voice in her head calmed her though and she looked to her right, where a gleaming blue dragon hovered for a moment and dived. Be careful. Kairavi sighed as she watched Salem dive-bomb the North's ground troops.
Salem had finally realized that during a battle, two dragons were better than one with a rider. She had finally given into the itching of her skin and had catapulted off of Kairavi's back and felt the change slide over her, giving her the wings and the claws that came with being a dragon. And then she had looked down at the humans below, firing up at her and Kairavi, and she had known that she needed to get rid of the pesky arrows. Now she let loose a jet of flame at the Northlanders.
