  • Gianna tensed. She could feel them creeping up, on their foul excuses for horses...
    Exaliana fit an arrow onto the bow. "We fight till we can't fight any longer!" she shouted, and leaped out of the forest. With sickening speed, she fired three arrows into the stampede, and ran back in.
    "Well, we might as well say his real name now," she said as she reloaded and jumped out again.
    "Hey you, you sick, foul, reeking corpse! You horrid, stinking... Tjiest!"

    The riders stopped abruptly. The dust cloud withered, and the forms appeared. There were a dozen of them, all riding some sort of horse. All but one had thin, greyish bodies that swayed in the wind. The other was red, muscular, and tall. He had great horns that towered three feet into thorn-sharp spikes. "You dare speak the name?" growled the red being, in a deep voice. "You dare speak the name of the greatest demon who ever spawned? YOU DARE? And you kill my fellows! What more crimes must you commit?" he waved one hand, a tiny movement, and the horses rose into the air. Exaliana gasped and ran for the forest.

  • Eclipse rushed over to greeneyes, "You ok?"

    Blix could feel the worry of his dragon, "Oh Eclipse...." He continued on and stumbled across red.

  • The black dragon chuckled a bit to herself, even though she knew the young dragon was serious. By now anybody who saw her would have thought it was a large condor.
    ~~~~~
    Poseidon nearly ran into Exaliana and her horse. He nickered and halted himself in time, while Cad immediately recognized the fearful expression on the maiden's face.
    "Good lord, what happened? Are you all right?"
  • Greeneyes mind whirled and her vision blurred
    The dark green dragon stumbled and took a sharp inhale
    She caught a glimpse of her throat, it was bad, the dragon started to wonder if she would die
  • Blix dropped the deer and ran over to Red. "Red you ok!?" he asked worriedly.
    Eclipse sped walked over to Greeneyes. "Stay still."
  • Gianna stopped Exaliana before she could say anything. You fool! she screamed in her head. What were you thinking? You should have recognized the sprites! I heard everything. We can't attack now, they have fire on their side. We must run, run, and never stop. Back into the forest, where they can't land.
    Exaliana gulped. "I'm sorry, Swift One. I know I should have seen it." She turned to the man who had just came up. "Demons, and fire sprites, we must go, now, before they kill us! They have been following us for days, I know not why!"
  • Poseidon knew he was getting closer to the rider and sped up a little.
    What are you doing, anyway?!
    The evil in these parts is unmistakable right now. Somebody's in peril, and you know you want to rescue a damsel in distress sometime. replied the roan, not missing a beat.
  • Eclipse examined Greeneyes wound, "This won't hurt abit." His claws glowed a green color, when his placed his claw on the wound it flashed white. He roared in pain as he was not use to doing this.
    Blix looked at Red "We need to get back!"
  • IC:
    The dragon dove for the mountain she had come to, landing neatly and with barely a sound in the mouth of a cave only her intense eyes could have spotted. She looked about as she padded deeper in, not noticing anything until she was a stone's throw into it. She turned to face the cloaked figure ahead of her, rolling her luminous green-orange eyes.
    "You should know by now I always know when you're here or not." she remarked. "I'm an assassin, for heaven's sake."
    "I know. That's why I should see Blix' dead body being dragged behind you." retorted the man coldly. "Why do I not?"
    "I keep telling you, I operate better at night, when there's more shadows about. You're the one who sent me out in broad daylight in the first place."
    "No Blix, no information."
    This reply seemed to strike a chord with the dragon, seeing as her eyes narrowed and the muffling fur that grew over her scales stood on end, revealing her glinting black armor. "Fine. I'll go tonight, you insolent mortal." she growled, turning to go as her tail lashed angrily. "You'd better hold up your end of the deal."
  • Blix left the deer and ended up at the front of the castle. He saw blood smeared over sections of grass. Greeneyes and Eclipse were against the wall. Blix ran over "Is everyone ok?!"
    Eclipse slumped against the wall. "Your wound won't bleed anymore." he huffed
  • Tjiest hissed as his prey ran away. He flicked his fingers again, and the fire sprites, black horses with dragon wings that could breathe fire, lunged ahead. They followed the girl's path. "Come with me," he yelled down to her.
    Exaliana gasped. "They followed us!" Then, louder, "Never!"
    Gianna called her over. Come here, and be quiet, she called, standing under a dense tree. They won't be able to see us from above.
  • Greeneyes said to Eclipse
    Lean on me and don't ever heal me again if it hurts you
    Red races over to the dragons and mumbled comforting words to them in her silky smooth voice
  • Poseidon slowed and stood stock-still, petrified by the fear the sprites radiated.
    "Come on, it was your idea in the first place," growled Cad, flipping his auburn hair out of his face as well as he could with the helmet on. He surveyed the sky, seeing the black forms. "Oh great, we're in trouble." He gripped his halberd so tightly his knuckles paled.
  • Greeneyes shut her mouth realizing she might have given something away, she blushed for a heart beat then stopped suddenly, the dragon had no time for this, she needed to concentrate on surviving the war
    Red carefully stroked the two dragons and hummed a peaceful tune trying to clam them from their fighting states
  • Eclipse smiled "Thanks..." He laid down beside Greeneyes.
    Blix ran over to the dragons and listened to Red sooth them. "You remind me of a old friend."
  • The black dragon left the cave and walked down to the treeline, silent as an apparition. Swarming with dragons and their riders, a reasonably-sized army, and a castle big enough to get lost in. she thought. What a wonderful scenario.
    A startled hare bolted from cover of a bush, frightened by the dragon. Nonetheless, she pounced on it, cracking its skull neatly, and began to chew on the head thoughtfully.
