Hunting Patrol!

    Hi, I'm a new warrior, Bluegaze, and I was asked to lead a patrol by our leader. I need some cats to help me with the hunting parol!

    YellowFlower stands and pads toward Bluegaze. " I'd be glad to join your patrol. " YellowFlower mews respectfully, dipping her head.

    "Thank you, Yellowflower." Bluegaze dips her head. "What about the old tree next to Riverclan?" I just hope I don't get lost there again

    Nods politley, " As you wish. From what I understand there has been low rain efficiency for awhile now and the River is more vulnerable to pass through onto our territory. We may want to keep our eyes out for any RiverClan scents on our land. "

    Buegaze nods. "You might be right. I saw this weird tortoiseshell tresspass, grab a mice, and then pad away to its clan." she had a glint of amusement in her eyes "Riverclan eating mice? Now hedgehogs fly!"

    Bluegaze sniffed a bush and found a dead mice. Her whiskers twitched.
    "Look at this! It's already dead.. Someone must of killed it and left it here."

    Purrs with amusement . " Might have been that tortoiseshell cat who killed that one mouse and took it away. Looks like whoever it was also changed their mind. " Winces at the rotten mouse. " Yet again... RiverClan's diet consists of fish. Why would they be hunting mice? " Gapes jaws and sniffs the air. " I don't smell anything fresh around here. What about you? Can you smell anything? "

    Lifts head to sniff. "No, I don't- wait. I do smell something!" Pads closer to the dead mouse. "I smell.. kittypet smell!" Bluegaze's fur bristles. "What would kittypets do here? Stupid mouse-brain furballs!"

    Stares intently at the mouse. Eyes turn into yellow slits. " This is proposterous. We need to tell WrathStar before this gets out of hand. We can't have even kittypet's hunting around here. Prey is already scarce. " Hackles raise. " Lets hurry back to camp and report this. "

    Bluegaze's whiskers twitch. "Ok." She replies with a nod.

    Tawny padded into the clearing. Glancing around, she noted that there seemed to be no one around. She checked the air for prey, and smelled a nearby mouse. "Perfect," she mewed to herself softly. She stalked forward, and caught the mouse with one sharp swipe of her paw. She nibbled on the tail before reminding herself of the sweet fish waiting for her at her person's house. She swiftly padded over to the nearby river and, after bathing herself in the forest scent, she padded back to her home.

    Bluegaze catches a weird scent. "Yellowflower! Don't you smell that? It's like... kittypet scent!" She smells the mouse and then the air. "It's the same scent.. Come on, let's go find out!"

    "Yes, let's go!" Bluegaze and her best friend hurried and followed the kittypet.

    OOC: Heheh, me and Bluegaze, we know each other in real life, I told her you posted, she called me a liar, and I pointed at the screen screaming "LIAR? LIAR? LIAR?" in her face xD



    IC: Tawny scaled a tree to get some well-needed rest. She had been running for days looking for prey, and she wasn't about to start searching again.

    Bluegaze growled. "It climbed up the tree." she meowed. "Stupid kittypets." She murmured.

    Cracking an eye open, Tawny lazily looked down, seeing Bluegaze for the first time. Now alert, she attempted to climb up the tree farther before they noticed her.

    A branch fell on Bluegaze's spine. "ow-" She looked up. "That lazy furball escaped!" She growled. "Should we get her? Wouldn't our leader notice we've gone?" She asked Yellowflower.

    Tawny flew from tree to tree. Now they won't catch me, She thought to herself before a branch cracked and tore off beneath her.


    OOC: Heh, Bluegaze suggested we wait for you xD Seems a good idea :P

    - hisses - " She doesn't seem like your typical kittypet. What would she want with wild mammal meat? She could be eating her kitty kibble. Yuck! But if she can climb a tree so can we . We're warriors. Are we not? Better we catch her and take her back as a prisoner then let her continue. " - jumps on truck of tree clawing at the sides with sheathed claws scrabbling to climb - " Come on Bluegaze ! " Yellowflower meows hastily .
