Eaglewing woke to hear Peakit sighing and trying to flick her tail.
" I'll help you", Eaglewing meowed, getting up.
" Here you go", Eaglewing mewed, flicking Peakit's tail for her, using her ( Eaglewing's) paw. -
Smallpaw's fur stood on end as a couple apprentices went by, laughing at her.

Eaglewing's fur bristled.
" Just because she's smaller than you, it gives you NO right to laugh at her!!"

The apprentices ignored the warrior and walked on.

" Apprentices like that irk me", Eaglewing grumbled.

"You didn't have to tell them to stop laughing. I'm used to it. It happens every day."

" What", Eaglewing asked suprised," Every day? That's terrible!!!"

"Like I said, I'm used to it."

" Well, I'll do something about it, someday", Eaglewing meowed.

"No they won't..... they won't say yhat you're too small to acomplish anything....they won't say you should still be a kit...."

" Your pelt is too shiny, all of the rabbits will see you."
" I can still be the best hunter ever", Eaglepaw meowed.
" Eaglepaw, you are so naive!"
Eaglepaw stared at the ground.
" C'mon Sparrowpaw!"

" I have to go", she lied as she ran out on to the moor, sat at the top of a hill, and cried.OCC: The dream was Eaglewing's past...
