Flame padded along the river bank. His red/ginger fur shone easily in the day so he kept his head low. He dark blue eyes flickered and he longed for a mate. He sighed and sat, the water barely touching his paws. His eyes now filled with sadness as he looked at his fiery reflection.

Rosefeather padded to the river. She froze when she noticed there was another cat there. "Hello?" she mewed.

"Who are you? I am Rosefeather."

Then from a tree a she-cat leaped down."HI! :P"she said happily.

Rosefeather felt like she could trust this tom, but was a bit shy. "I like your name." she mewed. She hesitently padded a bit closer.

"Oh sorry was I interupting a date or something?"

A she-cat fell into the river and yelped, "HELP!"

"Oh well then,hi.My name's Frostwind.Hey wait a sec are you one of those clan cats?!"

Frostwind ran over and helped the she-cat out.

Rosefeather sighed. Now he'd never pay attention to her!

She opened her eyes she had a scar on her left eye from a dog. "Yes... Thank you for saving me..." She coughed.

Frostwind walked into the river for a drink when she saw a twoleg it scooped her up and ran away HELP!
