    Shade nodded. "i was in that battle." he meowed, and gasped at his stupidity. he'd told a cat about his identity!

    Shadow looked up at Shade. "I think I love you." She felt foolish, Telling another cat about her misfortune.

    Shade was confused. "y-you can't. i doubt it, but do you remember the 'deseased' Shadesoul?" he mewed cautiously. he was him, and had been cruel throughout his life.

    Shadow nodded her head. "But oh, I think I do. No not the 'deseased' Shadesoul." She looked into his eyes. "I-I feel as if I can trust you."

    The she-cat shook her head. "I do not care, I have never felt this way before. I am Shadow Halfpaw." She nuzzled her head into his neck.

    "ow could you love me? i was ready to kill you." he meowed, shocked.

    "I can sometimes be very forgiving. I was ready to attack if and when you made the first move." She looked up into his eyes. Her own showing true love, feelings and compassion.

    His violet eyes were uncertain. "but.... i was evil. i plotted!" he yowled.

    "If that is how you feel." Shadow turned to walk away.

    Shade couldn't think. "wh- what...?" he meowed. "WHAT IN STARCLAN'S NAME IS GOING ONNNNN?????" he yowled.

    She turned her head. "I am sorry about my feelings for you. If you do not feel the same."
