Snake growled & leaped from the tree."Sorry Cygnus."He mewed & clawed her housefolk,making them drop her.

Cygnus fell and started towards Snake but stopped and said "Sorry Snake, these Housefolk have looked after me since I was a kit" said Cygnus going back towards the housefolk

Snake shook his head."What happen-OH NO!My anger side took over.When I see too many housefolk,I freak & go mad.I'm sorry."He mewed & nuzzled her cheek gently.

Her housefolk petted her and took her inside. Cygnus took one regretful look at Snake and went in

Cygnus wasn't seen for 12 moons and when she came out..........

12 moons later,Snake was laying under the tree,dieing from a broken heart.

"Snake!" called Cygnus joyfully

"Cygnus...?"He mewed & got up weakly.He was super skinny & pale."Is that you?"

"Snake? you look thin. Have you not been eating?" asked Cygnus

"There's no mice anymore...a group of alley cats are taking all the food..."He mewed.

Cygnus called her housefolk and they gently took Snake inside

Snake flinched feeling the housefolks' hands."It's been so long since I've been touched by a housefolk.Are you sure about this Cygnus?"

"Yes" said Cygnus
The housefolk gave him a bowl of food

"Well,at least I'll still be with you."He purred & ate the food after licking Cygnus' cheek.
