Snake backed from the alley & ran back to Cygnus,ripping his tooth in his collar out on a metal bench.

Snake felt someone behind me.He turned his head & saw Bone chasing him.He grunted & jumped onto the fence & ran the rest of the way.

Cygnus began going into her nest

"Cygnus!"Snake mewed & ran into her garden."Cygnus..........."He whispered,seeing she was gone.

Cygnus heard somethging and went out

"Cygnus...."Snake mewed & ran to her."I don't wanna leave you,ever.Your the only beauty in the flowers,the warmth of the sun,the enjoyment in being stroked & the most caring of all cats."He mewed & nuzzled her.

Snake purred."If I had to pick my safety or you,I'd pick you 100 persent."He purred & nuzzled her."I love you..."

"I'll stay as close to your nest as possible,dearest Cygnus.I'll even sleep in the rose bushes to stay near your nest & stay near you.."He purred.

"Okay,"He mewed."I think I hear housefolk."He mewed & nuzzled Cygnus goodbye before crawling under the porch.

The housefolk came out and put down a large bowl of food

Snake watched them slowly,preparing to run if they saw him.
