Darkpaw took a deep breath and wiped her tears away with her long tail. ""I think I'll stay in the apprentice den for a bit." She croaked, padding towards the den, her head held low and tail drooping.
-
Flashpaw watched his sister sadly. What could he do to fix it? "I made a mistake." He meowed quietly.
-
Darkpaw plopped onto thhe ground, staring blankly ahead. Why did I answer?
-
Fluidpaw went over to Flashpaw, "there was nothing else you could do when she answered. It's just what brothers and sisters do. She'll forgive you soon enough." She glared a Beechpaw, as if Flashpaw asking the question and Darkpaw crying was his fault.
-
Flashpaw still frowned hoping that Darkpaw would cheer up soon.
-
When the light began to fade in the camp Darkpaw slowly emerged from the apprentice den, checking to make sure Beechpaw wasn't near.
-
Flashpaw walked over to Darkpaw when he spotted her. "You okay?" He asked in concern.
-
Beechpaw had gone into the forest, pine leaves brushing against his pelt. He scrambled no the top most branches of a tree and breathed slowly, trying to clear his mind. The breeze ruffled his fur and he smiled. He loved the wind against him. Maybe because his mother had been WindClan... He shook his head to disperse those thoughts and scolded himself, move on. She isn't coming back from StarClan. He smiled again. The wind was picking up. He looked the sky.The sun was oly sinking over the horizon and the red sky made his tabby pelt look like flames.
-
"Yeah." Darkpaw mewed quietly. "Is Beechpaw anywhere near? I don't want to face him after that."
-
Fluidpaw went up to her, "No, he went into the forest. Good idea is if you stayed apart if you ask me." She looked concerned but she was really just trying to keep Beechpaw to herself.
-
Darkpaw nodded sadly, looking at her paws.
-
Moonflight was getting angry. Where was she?
-
Darkpaw remembered that she was supposed to be training. "Bye." She mewed, and began to search for her mentor.
-
Flashpaw meowed a quick "Bye." To Darkpaw as she left, and he went off to look for Beechpaw.
-
Darkpaw noticed Moonflight and approached her mentor.
-
"Where have you been?" Moonflight fumed.
-
"I forgot," Darkpaw mewed, looking at her paws, not wanting to tell Moonflight about the game of truth or dare. "Sorry Moonflight."
-
Moonflight's features softened. "Well, I guess it's okay for this oone time." she said.
-
Darkpaw looked up at her mentor, hoping some training would get her mind off of Beechpaw. "What are we doing today?" She asked.
