Mirage gasped as he was knocked over the edge of the hill. He raked his long claws down the rocky surfaces and came to halt as he snagged on a large boulder.

Mirage scrambled back up the slope until he reached the top. He looked around himself. "Benne?!"

Benne ran from the bushes and stood at the edge of the hill. As she raced down the hill, a snowy owl glided next to her. She stopped next to Mirage and the snowy landed next to Rose.

Mirage watched Benne and the owl with wide eyes. He stayed where he was.

''Broken.'' the owl growls, laying some rushes on her flank. He fixed the rushes in place with some cobwebs. He put a poppy seed in front of her muzzle. ''Eat.''
