"Good." she said with relief. She suddenly winced as another stab of pain emitted from her forepaw. Gingerly, she held it off the ground and nearly collapsed to the ground as her vision was suddenly tinted with red. Gritting her teeth, she caught herself and forced her legs into balance. "Where are the others?" she asked, reffering to the other clanmates, doing her best to ignore her own discomfort.

IC;; Aspen happily ran up to the others. He was glad to know all the two legs had left, before he noticed Brightgaze's pained face. He looked down at her messed up foot, and scowled. "What did they do to you?" Aspen growled in a deep tone.

Brightgaze forced her paw back onto the ground at Aspen's mention of it. "It wasn't entirely the twolegs that did it." she explained softly. "It had already been injured when one of them twisted it when they picked me up to get me to stop attacking them, but I also made it worse by tripping on a root when they were chasing Sandstar and I." she explained. "It isn't that bad...really." she said while lowering her head slightly in slight shame. "We have other things to worry about."

"Clan mates always go first!" SpottedCloud protested against Brightgaze. "We should help you." Spottedcloud walked closer to Brightgaze and looked at her damaged paw.

"Exactly." Said Brightgaze while backing up slightly. "Which is why we should stop worrying about me, and finding the rest of our clanmates to be sure they are okay. Oceanclan is scattered, we must find and reunite our warriors."

Ignoring Aspen's angered mutters, Brightgaze flexed her claws with worry. "How bad is the camp?" she asked, knowing that it most likely suffered terrible casualties.

"It's best to fix the dens. Let's start now." Spottedcloud turned, facing the camp.

Brightgaze nodded, wanting to help as much as she could. "I'll find some brambles and twigs to fix the barriers , meanwhile could someone find some moss and other foilage to finish it up once I'm am done with the frame work?" she asked while limping over to inspect some of the damage.

"I think you should rest Brightgaze. You leg...." Spottedcloud said.

Brightgaze shook her head. "Please, it doesn't hurt that much anymore." she spoke while testing it a little bit on the ground. "I can still help, I want to, I won't let my injury get in the way...promise."

Brightgaze gave a simple nod before heading near the outside of camp, her ice blue eyes scanning the ground intently for anything that could serve useful for the framework of the camp dens. Most of the outer wall had been smashed or destroyed from when the Twolegs burst through. Making a mental note to fix that later, she padded over to a couple of brambles and carefully grasped her teeth around the main stems.

Hauling it back proved to be a struggle as she attempted to put full weight on her injured paw. Grunting yet not giving in, she managed to pull her find back to the center of the camp, placing it in a pile for others to use.

Spottedcloud followed Brightgaze and said "Be careful with your paw." She helped Brightgze pull the pile into the camp, or rather she pushed.

"I will." she promised while helping to lug the brambles to the den with the most damage, the warriors den. It being on the outside of the camp, it suffered the terrible ordeal of being practically crushed under the large hind paws of the giant invaders.

"Help me seperate the crushed brambles from the ones we can save." she said before working to pry them apart with her teeth and claws.

Spottedcloud did the same, pulling them apart. The brambles and every tug let out a rustle from the pile.

Brightgaze smiled as she tugged several of the brambles from the fresh pile and expertly weaved them to interlock with the surviving bushes. We are making progress, she thought with a pleased expression. She winced slightly as her injured forepaw throbbed from the strained amount of effort but she ignored it, feeling that she could worry about it later.

"That's good." she exclaimed as both she and Spottedcloud finished up the framework of the den. "We will need the leaves and foilage to cover up the rest of the den and then we can move on to the next one."

"Okay." Spottedcloud mewed. She jumped on a nearby tree and walked along the branch. Keeping her balance, she shook the branch and watched the leaves fall to the floor and the den. "Does that help?" She asked and laughed in amusement.
