    Brightgaze glance at Sandstar to be sure she was doing alright before peaking outside their hideout to see how close the twolegs were. She fought back to squeak in surprise and jerked her head back when she found they were right there! Too close, she thought.

    SpottedCloud exited the camp and carefully patroled the perimeter of the camp. She looked for any twoleg scent and cat scent. She was more concerned about the others than the twolegs.

    "Okay." Whispered Brightgaze once they sat in silence for a few minutes. "I think we are clear, we should try to get back to camp." she said while struggling to her feet. She wanted to yowl in pain at the put pressure on her bad foot, it hurt greatly and was shaped oddly. "Lets go."

    Brightgaze glanced about and flicked her ear at Sandstar's question. "I will be fine, it's nothing really, I will keeep up if you lead the way." she said with determination.


    No sign of teh twolegs so far, she thought. Perhaps they have left, in that case we can search for the others once the camp is accounted for.

    Sandstar wasn't sure if she really "Alright.. I think they're gone for good now." she smiled "They've learned thier lesson.."

    "Perhaps." she said absent mindedly. "Let us hurry back to camp just in cast, though. I fear we may have to work on some minor repairs." she said while limping in said direction.

    "Alright," she concluded "But be care on that leg of yours. I don't want it to get worse.

    Brightgaze nodded before heading back to camp. She couldn't help but keep a wary eye out for any signs that the twolegs would still be lurking.

    Brightgaze traveled along with Sandstar back to camp in silence. When they were almost able to spot the camp entrance, she noticed two of her other clanmates in the distance. "Aspen, Spottedcloud!" she called out, happy that others were alright.

    SpottedCloud pricked her ears up after she heard Brightgaze. She padded toward Brightgaze's direction, happy to know her clanmates were alive.

    "Wait!" Sandstar stopped Brightgaze before she bounded after them "I don't think it's a good idea to have you running yet. Let alone walking."

    Brightgaze felt deeply trouble by this but she ignored it simply and sadly dipped her head while staring down at her deformed looking paw. "I-I suppose your right." she said to her leader. She forced herself to a slow walk along side her as they met up with their two clanmates. "Good to see that you guys are alright." she said happily with a forced smile on her face.


    "Any more signs of the twolegs?" she asked with worry.

    "No.. It seems they've given up for now."
