  • Echo went to sleep, his ears still alert for any sounds. He slowly drifted off to sleep, but he was a light-sleeper. He smiled as he thought of the Queen.

  • Sorrow arrived back at the camp, and sighed. Why did she have to have lost her voice? Why couldn't she be a normal cat for once? Why couldn't she be like her brother? Why? She asked herself all those questions, then sighed. Why?

Rowan watched his sister come back in. He wanted to go up and purr, loud and hard, but knew it was impossible, for she'd just swat him away.

He went up to her and sang softly,
    "You're not alone
    Together we stand,
    I'll be by your side,
You know I'll take your hand,

    When it gets cold,
And it feels like the end,
    There's no place to go
You know I won't give in."

  • Echo sighed deeply as he woke up. He looked around. Where was
Queen Rihanna? He padded around camp nervously as he thought of all the bad things that could happen to her. He started to feel terrible. He rushed into the forest, looking for her.

  • Dementia stared blankly at where the scene had unfolded, hidden in the shadows. He had seen everything, from their kiss to the I love you. He felt utterly broken inside, like everything was falling to pieces. Jaws still agape, a tiny, innocent voice worked it's way out of his throat. "...Why?"

  • Echo was already in the forest, searching desperately for the Queen. He couldn't let anything happen to her. He loved her. He would be devastated if something were to happen to her. He raced across the forest, looked for a hint of where she could be.
