    I nod, thinking it's just an honory thing from a leader to a warrior. I settle down next to Vinestar.

    I start to lick Vinestar's head. *She smells wonderful... Like a summer breeze...*

    Vinestar purrs and brushes her pelt agianst his, I then whisper into his ear: "Your wonderful, Want to go to my Den where no one will bother us?" I ask him.

    My ears prick in surprise. *I wonder what she has planned.* "Sure."

    Vinestar stands with him, Twines our tails and i padd with him over to my Den that is in a Cave with think lichen hanging down, It was at the base of the Hollow and just a few paces away was Moonfern's Den, I then lead him in and i take him over to my Big Nest--It was made like that when our Last Leader wanted to Share it with his Mate. I then lay down in my nest with him, "I love you, Rainsplash" I say with a purr.

    A surprised look crossed my face. "What? But... Vinestar, you're the Clan Leader..."

    "If you have kits, who will take your place as leader?" I asked.

    Vinestar nodded, "You'll be my Mate, You've been in my Mind as a Deputy and Moonfern and me have been talkin' 'bout it, Oh and if you need help you could come to me or Moonfern"

    *Well...She's been my crush ever since... And then when she became deputy, my heart broke...* I sighed. "I need to tell you something."

    I took a deep breath and the words tumbled out of my mouth. "You've been my crush ever since we were apprentices. When you became deputy I thought there was no hope for us. You telling me that you love me now is like a rainbow in a crystal."
