•
Moonlight lit up the clearing. A few cats were out, but ThunderClan seemed deserted. The stars were covered by a thin sheet of cloud. It was quiet, exept maybe perhaps the wingbeats of an owl.

Gorsefang halted, eyes pricked. His sharp emerald eyes scanned the camp, narrowed and angry. Where was Greatwhite? Claws unsheathed, he gave up on the great white cat. He stalked over to the freshkill pile, and picked out a vole from the pile. Gorsefang carried his prey over to a shaded part of the camp, where him and Greatwhite met. He let the vole drop with a thud. In fury, he raked his claws over it, severing it's tiny head. Gorsefang smiled with delight as the blood oozed out on to the earth. He swept the vole away, into a corner. The tabby rose to his paws and turned, only to collide with a sleek, silver tabby. "Watch it!" Gorsefang hissed in rage.

  • Zerogravity was brooding as he moved through the camp. Dark thoughts wound through his head that he knew shouldn't be there. But they were and he had given up on trying to silence them. He had always known that he was destined for greatness; problem was, he didn't know how he was going to achieve it. The slivery tabby barely noticed his surroundings until the moment he collided with Gorsefang. The other tom's angry hiss made him frown. "Watch it yourself, Gorsefang. Some cats would claw your ears off for snapping at them like that." His own eyes were narrowed now as he growled the subtle threat out. He wasn't in the mood to play around right now.

  • Angry laughter filled the night air. "I'm sure," Gorsefang replied, not nearly as harsh as his previous comment. His claws itched for a fight, but he figured it would be better for him to keep the blood from flowing; for now. His flicked his ear, eyes flickering to the stream of blood trickling from the vole he massacred. "...as if they could," Gorsefang's addition was so silent that he barely heard it himself. He knew he was one of the best fighters the forest had seen, but he tried not to show his Clanmates. If they found out, they would fear him, and that wasn't about how he would start a rebellion, not now. He was sure that, as soon as the time was right, some heads would roll. His green eyes reflected his thoughts, Zerogravity could probably tell what he was thinking. Gorsefang looked away.

  • Greatwhite stumbled out into the chilly night air. He was covered in a cold sweat from the nightmare he had just woken from. Agan, he had seen himslf murdering Wishingwell and Nightstar in a pool of deep crimson blood. He shook his head wearily. He didnt want that. But he had to, didnt he?
He looked around and noticed Gorsefang standing with Zerogravity. He greeted them both with a sleepy nod of his head, yet his eyes were bright with terror, as he was lost in thought about his dream.

  • Zerogravity growled fiercely at the other male as he laughed. He really wasn't in the mood right now. But before he snap at Gorsefang again, the silver tabby noticed something in his eyes. It was a look that he had seen in his own many times when he looked at his reflection in water. It screamed of power, bloodlust, and rebellion. Zerogravity had to sink his claws into the ground to keep himself from falling into the sky. "What are you thinking about Gorsefang? What is this look in your eye that promises heads will roll?" He whispered, wanting to the thoughts be spoken aloud, if only to make his heart stop soaring with hope.

  •
Gorsefang gasped. He hadn't realized it was that obvious. He swiped a paw over his ear. Greatwhite had approached. Gorsefang murmured a greeting. The moonlight had shifted, and now the trio was under a magical beam. Gorsefang seemed like a ghost in the light, with a blue-silver pelt. He thought of something quickly. The tom needed a lie that would continue to keep Greatwhite with him, but also to convince Zerogravity that he had these thoughts. Gorsefang could tell, that by the familiarness in Zerogravitiy's voice, that look in his eye, that he'd had them too.

"Well," Gorsefang murmured softly, "I try to be a loyal, strong ThunderClan warrior. But sometimes, when I sleep, and sometimes even when I'm awake, I get these terrible, horrible throughs and visions. Once, I was getting freshkill, and I looked over at Nightstar, and she was standing in a pool of her own blood. Bloody pawprints traced all the way back to me, and my paws were matted with it. I blinked, and it was gone," Gorsefand finished his story. He gazed over at Greatwhite and whispered, "He gets them too."

  • Zerogravity gasped lightly. He had thought he was the only one with the tortuous, traitorous thoughts. But now two cats seemed to share his thoughts. He looked between Gorsefang and Greatwhite, whom he had just really noticed, confused, hopeful, and slightly terrified. He wasn't sure what to say now, so he stayed silent to see what the other two would do.

  • Greatwhite closed his eyes. He hadnt wanted anyone to know about his secret. Now two of his clanmates knew. Swallowing, he nodded to Zerogravity.
"I see the same things in my sleep." he confermed. "When I sleep, all I can see are Wishingwell and Nightstar covered in blood. And I look down at my own paws, and see that they are covered in their blood." He blinked his deep copper eyes nervously. "Gorsefang said he can help me control it. Maybe he can help you too?" he added naively to Zerogravity.

  • Zerogravity was stunned by Greatwhite's confession. "That's exactly like my thoughts. I can't stop thinking about ways to murder them." His ears went back slightly, as if he was expecting some kind of reprimand for the statement. His ears flickered up though when the big white tom mentioned that Gorsefang was going to help him control it. "Really? Could you really do that for me?"

  •
Gorsefang straightened his ears and back. His mouth carved into a smile, the same creepy one Greatwhite had seen earilier. "Of course I will!" he mewed, green eyes flashing. Gorsefang was strong, and realized that if he told these cats this, they would follow him without a doubt. "I believe," Gorsefang started, "to release the brutal thoughts we have, we have to express them." The tabby paused. "This could be risky," he breathed. "We could get seriously hurt. We'll need to take out our anger on something. It was to be each other. This way, we will release our thoughts." Gorsefang shuddered. "I don't know. This might be too risky. I think I can handle the attacks, though. You guys can try it on me. Trust me, when I fight, the thoughts stay for a minute, then disappear. My mind's like new." Gorsefang knew this was true. He waited for the cats' reply.

  • Greatwhite arched his back, and hissed out of fear. He knew what happened to him when he scented or saw blood. He never wanted that to happen again, so he hoped Gorsefang meant fighting with claws sheated. "We wont be using our claws, right?" he asked, shifting his paws.

When ever he came in contact with blood, it was never pretty. He would lose total control, at the mercy of his 'other half'. He didnt want to go into a frenzy, he stayed clear of battles for that reason.

  • Zerogravity flinched back at Greatwhite's response to Gorsefang's words. He thought the idea was a good one, since they wouldn't be taking it out on the ones their thoughts and dreams demanded them too. Though he did see sense in the big white tom's words. "Yeah. It would be hard to explain to Nightstar or Wishingwell how we got all scratched up if we fight claws unsheathed." His voice was slightly subdued as he addressed Gorsefang; recognizing the power the cat held.

  •
Gorsefang laughed half-heartedly. "Of course we'll sheathe our claws!" If the cats in power found out why they'd been scratched, it could mean trouble. Gorsefang's plan had started to unfold. He would train these cats, eventually urging them to unsheathe their claws. When the wounds were too deep, he would, in proper wording, get them to take out their thoughts on kittypets and loners. They would eventually forget, their dark sides would comsume them. It was foolproof. "So, should we start this time tomorrow?" Gorsefang inquired.

  • Zerogravity nodded eagerly, "Yes tomorrow. Where should we meet?" Obviously, it could be in the middle of camp. That would just be stupid.

  •
Gorsefang thought briefly. Meeting often in the camp would be stupid, too obvious to his Clanmates. Perhaps they could meet somewhere in ThunderClan territory. They needed a spot where there would be no apprentices training, no cats hunting. "Perhaps snakerocks? Apprentices try to hunt there, but because of the adders, its rare," Gorsefang suggested. The huge tom decided he would play nice and not show his full bloodlust side until later on.

  • Greatwhite nodded his head, relieved they were going to fight with claws sheathed. "Snakerocks, right!" he meowed, not at all that worried about coming across an adder. Little snakes didnt scare him.

  • Zerogravity nodded again, agreeing with the plans. "Snakerocks. So good." There wouldn't be alot of cats around there and hopefully the snakes would stay in their rocks.

  • OOC: I'll start a new thread.

Gorsefang grunted, then stalked off for a good sleep in the warriors den.
