    Thistle let out a low growl, her claws turning back into fingers and her teeth becoming less sharp. Her eyes were still feline-like as she turned and ran back towards the lab.

    With a howl of laughter, she continued to run. Eek slowed down and let Kaia catch up before he leaped gracefully onto her shoulder. After about 15 minutes, they came to a secret shelter and locked and barred the door and covered their heads. They both heard a loud yet distant explosion miles away, but it was such a force, that wind and some of the glass flew past the secret shelter. Putting a gas mask on herself and a smaller one on Eek, they looked at eachother and grinned. But then Eek realized something...."NIPAA!" he yowled and dashed towards the doors.


    Back at the lab, it had exploded and collapsed. Many different gases and syringes were everywhere, needles and dangerous liquids all over the floor. All the cages had been dented or opened, or even destroyed. Nipaa was no where to be found. All you could see a piece of silky white fur under cages and needles.

    Kiara liked the action, staring contently at the emotion shown. She smiled briefly, leaning back on the cage, her arms crossed, eyes flickering back and forth.

    Eek ran and caught up to Thistle, trying to run past her to look for his sister.

    Eek ran into the crumbling lab. Mask covering any entry to a gas, he dashed inside. Desperation glowed in his eyes as he searched for his sister. He finally found a piece of white fur under a tower of cages, broken glass, liquid, and needles. His eyes grew into wide slits of panic and he screamed, "NIPAA!"

    He swiped again and the lock fell to the ground near Kiara's tennis shoe. Not noticing, she walked away. Acro pushed open the metal cage door and leaped to the marble floor three small cages down. He jumped up to a cage with a pale yellow cat, Paradise. He unlocked it, and let the beauty out of the cage. The new couple began unlocking random cages until a medium-large group of cats formed on the floor. They slinked away towards an half-open door

    Eek ignored other cats as his eyes stared at the white fur under the wreckage. "Nipaa! Don't worry, I am coming! Hang in there okay?!" He tried desperately to lift the pile off without killing himself.

    The room was somewhat large with vials filled with red liquids and different pills and such on the shelves. Disgusted, most of the cats backed away. But Paradise and Acro stood their ground, then gathered the other cats back. "Come with us," they cooed to the terribly frightened ones.

    Sapphire, the pure white she-cat with a vicious attitude banged against her cage and mrwied in detest. She still hadn't managed to get her muzzle off, but her saphire eyes shown with terror. She wanted out. And she wanted out now.
