  • Perkyfire carefully made her way into the warriors den. Wrathstar had just givin her warrior name. She looked around shyly, which was very unlike her.

    OOC: She looks like this:

  • "Congratulations Perkyfire." A calm voice mewed from behind the she-cat. A massive ginger tabby slipped into the warriors den behind the she-cat, a smile dancing across his soft ivory and ginger facial features, green eyes studying the new warrior intently. Shimmerstrike remembered Perky as an apprentice and had watched as she received her warrior name, cheering out her name with all the other warriors, except Shimmerstrike wasn't just a warrior, he was the deputy. He always liked to greet new warriors personally to show he wasn't that distanced from the clan, and to show he didn't think himself any better then other warriors.

  • Perkeyfire turned around quickly. Her violet eyes toook a slight glance at the deputy. She dipped her head politely. "T-thank you!" she meowed with a sight sense nervousness. She shuffled her white paws as she stared down at them. The golden tabby, which was slightly small compared to Shimmerstrike, rembered when she would look at him with admiration, wishing that she would one day be as good of a warrior he was and that she may one day be deputy. She giggled slightly at her own thoughts.

  • Shimmerstrike could see the nervousness the new warrior she-cat possessed. He offered a lopsided grin to help settle the mood more comfortably. "No problem." The deputy purred good naturally,.flicking his tail as he stared down at the smaller cat. "I certainly hope you enjoy your new accomidations. Being a warrior can be.rough some times, but it holds many rewards." The deputy promised with a flock of his ear.

  • Perkyfire glanced back up at Shimmerstrike and couldn't help but relax a little. She smiled at little as she listened to him. "I understand that being a warrior can be very hard at times, but I know I'll pull through!" she purred happily. I know one day I'll be great! she thought. I just know it! Then she sighed. "Only thing that I am really worried about is my first time leading a patrol." she giggled.

  • "Well why don't you lead a patrol now? The ShadowClan border hasn't been checked today and I'm open for some hunting." Shimmerstrike offered. He didn't mind following a warrior's orders at all. It certainly didn't bother his pride. Besides, it would be nice to see just how well his warriors were being trained. He stepped to the side to give the she-cat room to leave the den and flicked his tail as a sign that he would follow, smiling encouragingly.

  • "Okay!" Perkyfire meowed happily. She exited the warriors den. "Okay Perky.... You can do this....." she murrmered quietly to herself as she made her way to the camp enterance. "Okay, so this was what I was thinking," she began, "we would make our way to the ShadowClan border, check the scent markers and make sure n one is tresspasing. Then we can Go and hunt for a bit." she meowed confidently. Her violet gaze held nothing but certianty she was doing good. The small she-cat padded a tiny bit faster, her head held high.

  • Shimmerstrike trotted out of the den after the warrior and listened to her plan, inclining his head as he listened and nodding in agreement. "Lead on." He mewed with a smiled, flicking his tail again.

  • Perkyfire stepped out of camp. She padded up the ravine slowly making her way twoards the ShadowClan border. "Almost there!" she meowed over her shoulder.

  • Shimmerstrike followed, squeezing out of the entrance bracken tunnel and clambering up the top of the ravine with ease and following the she-cat as they continued on through the trees for a while, the roar of the Thunderpath drawing closer with each step.

  • Perkyfire stopped about a foxlength away from the thunderpath. She kept her fear of it away and continued to where the real border lay. Her tail twitched with slight unease remembering when a friend died here when ran over by a monster.

  • As soon as they arrived, Shimmerstrike immediately began laying new scent marks, spraying the trees and the ground beside the Thunderpath. He also checked for invading ShadowClan scent, but detected none.

  • Perkyfire sniffed around for any ShadowClan intruders. She shivered. Almost everything was masked by the scent of monsters. She went and set the last border marker before looking at Shimmerstrike. "Looks like we're done here!" she meowed cheerfully.

  • Perkyfire looked at him. "Now we hunt! The clan needs food and we need to put in our fair share of work in. So we can hunt for a bit then go back to camp." she meowed simpily. She turned around and began to pad deeper into thier own territory.

  • Perkyfire came to a slow stop and grinned. She sighted a lone mouse just nibbling away on a nut. She instictively wnet into the hunters crouch. She began to stalk it silently, every pawstep lightly touching the ground.

  • Shimmerstrike watched as she expertly stalked the nibbling rodent. He wasn't having much luck of his own, probably because prey was still a bit scarce, but atleast they would have a mouse, if she managed to catch it, of course.

  • Perkyfire leapt for the mouse. She landed on it squarely and cleanly killed it. She stood up with the mouse in her jaws, her eyes glowing with happiness at her luck.
