    EverStar watched her go. She hated the fact that LostStar couldn't trust her...she asked StarClan,
    Why did I have to be KillWhisper's sister? What have I done?
    She looked at the sky and sang her mothers tune;
    I will wander 'till, the end of time...
    torn away...from you!
    She cried at thought of her mother...

    EverStar lunged at the cat "No!" she shouted as she swiped at the cougar's eye. She was twice, maybe three times her size, but EverStar showed no fear.

    The cougar blinked down at the kits. With a screeching snarl, she dropped her head to pick up Swiftkit, her huge teeth flashing. When she felt light paws on her tail, she whipped around and aimed to whack Finchkit upside the head.

    The cougar drew her face back in surprise at Everstar. She screeched and unsheathed her claws, which were about the length of a young kit. She drew her lips back in a hiss growl as she lunged forward to clamp her long teeth around the foolish cat's neck.

    FinchKit flew right into a bush with a yelp. SwiftKit almost fainted with fear but dove after her sister. CreamPelt watched in terror, "Oh no you didn't!" She yowled and flung herself at the cougar with a caterwaul of screeches.

    EverStar hesitated, before she could react the cougar had her throat...
    "HELP!" she shouted, hoping someone would hear her. She kicked violently at the cougar

    The cougar's black eyes flashed to Graykit. She clamped her teeth tightly around Everstar and jumped to the side, shaking her prey in her mouth while she avoided Creampaw.

    Grizzlystar looked to the cougar and let out an enraged hiss. She, too, sprang at the great cat in hopes to rip her claws across it's pelt. She let out a screech as the mountain lion lunged at Everstar, and the brown she-cat attempted to leap onto it's head and sink her claws into it's fur up there instead.

    A flash of sandy brown leaped across the sky, reaching about 10 feet in the air. The caracal landed safely on all fours near the mountain lion. It's amber eyes gleamed in the moonlight, and Jumper of the Sands sprang for the lion, knocking Grizzlystar out of harms way. The caracal glared at the lion-- Who was about 3 times her size. The caracal was but a little bigger than most cats here. Jumper of the Sands attempted to leap up and slash the Cougar across the face-- Trying to make it drop the innocent cat caught in it's jaws.

    Fawn said, "Oh, are you hungry? Come on, I will get you some milk. Stay out of trouble, kits." She led Graykit to feed her.


    All kits went to wander in the Gathering except Firefly who followed Fawn

    And it worked. The cougar promptly dropped Everstar and switched her attention to Jumper of the Sands. Her tail lashing behind her, she swiped a huge paw at the caracal.

    EverStar looked at him, she wanted to ask him for help...instead she looked at him with hurt eyes as she was shaken by the cougar.

    The cougar twisted to face Creampelt and reared up as the snarling ball of fur came flying at her. With a hiss, she lowered her paws with a thud, hoping to catch Creampelt in a deathtrap. At the same time, the oversized cat mewed to Graykit in a deep voice sounding like death itself. 'Certainly. I'm playing with these cats right now. Want to help me? Let's see how good your fighting skills are."
