  • [align=center]Mintkit pushed her head through the brambles of the nursery, and took a mouthful of fresh air. The familiar scents of the camp bustling about filled her nose, and she purred with delight.

Nudging her way through the rest of the thick nursery opening, she stretched languidly against the soft dirt floor.

She had just woken up from a nap, and felt refreshed and ready to play. But with who, was the problem. Mintkit looked around the camp clearing trying to spot anyone else that might've been up for an adventure. ~

  • Tigerkit ran up to her. "Hi! Wanna play?" he mewed. Tigerkit didn't really know who this was but he really wanted to play.

  • [align=center]Mintkit looked at the other kit she recognized as Tigerkit, and purred happily.
"Sure, my name's Minkit, by the way!" She tapped Tigerkit on the nose with her tail then gestured towards the fallen log at the far end of their camp.

    "Let's play over there."

  • [align=center]Mintkit padded over to the fallen log near the edge of their camp, and jumped onto it, stumbling slightly on the slippery wet bark.

"I bet you can't cross this tree faster than me!"

  • As Mintkit was racing across the wet bark, she lost her footing, and flopped into the shallow stream that filtered through the camp. "Now my paws are all wet!" A mischievous gleam entered her eye, and she called out to Tigerkit. "Help me up please." She held out her paw for him to take.

  • Xylophonekit watched, almost sharing Mintkit's thought; Mintkit was going to pull Tigerkit in with her.

She laughed quietly at the idea.

  • [align=center]Mintkit grasped one of his paws with both of hers, and pulled him down into the water with her. She laughed at her cleverness, and looked over at the other shekit. "Sure come on, hope you don't mind getting your paws wet!" She teased good-naturedly.

  • Xylophonekit laughed. "I knew it! I knew you was gonna pull 'im in!"

The red she-kit jumped up onto the log, and tumbled purposefuly into the lake.

  • [CENTER]Mintkit laughed at the clumsiness of the new kit, and rolled around in the river with the two other kits before stopping abruptly. "Wait! We don't know your name." Mintkit looked at the red she-kit, and waited for her to say it.
