BrokenShadow was a slender yet fierce she-cat with a jet black pelt and a rugged scar stretching from her left eye to her flank, with one blue and one brown eye. She sat in the branches of a tree thinking to herself. Will anyone ever love me?.. She had been asking herself the same question over and over again but an answer would never come..

BrokenShadow nearly fell from her tree as the cats startled her. "Hello."She called out as she leaped from the tree and landed gracefully on her feet.

Blaze storm, a handsome dark ginger tabby Tom with light sea green eyes, was exploring the forest when he saw something in the tree. He put his front paws on the trunk and meowed at the figure above. "Hello?" his meow was deep, btu kind.

BrokenShadow leaped down from the tree gracefully and looked at both the cats. "Hi, i'm BrokenShadow." She mewed, her voice light and almost musical, not at all matching her haggard appearance.

"I'm blaze storm." he meowed, swishing his tail as he took a step closer towards the she cat.

She smiled at both BlazeStorm and SnowStar. "What are you guys doing out here?" She mewed trying to start a conversation.

"nothing just looking"

She nodded then looked at BlazeStorm. "You?"

Blaze storm smiled and purred. "I thought of going for a little hunting when I found your little pretty face," he purred.

She purred as well in response to him complement. No one had ever called her pretty due to her scar. "Well i'm flattered. May i finish your hunt with you?" She asked.

Blaze storm purred and dipped his head. "It would be my honor."

She smiled and let him take the lead.

Blaze storm walked past her, brushing his pelt against hers as he trotted into the dense forest

BrokenShadow followed him trying to keep her purrs to a minimum. She heard a rustling in the grass, but didn't bother to catch anything. She was too engrossed in BlazeStorm.

Blaze storm couldn't stop thinking about broken shadow. He was thinking of her beautiful fur and her bright eyes. He was so deep in his day dreaming that he almost literally tripped over a squirrel. Luckily he was quick on his paws and pounced on the squirrel quickly

She watched him kill the squirrel then thought You are so stupid! You should have caught something!

Blazestorm turned around and put down the squirrel at broken shadows paws. He smiled as he looked into her eyes. "You can have it," he purred.
